What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Well My hell weeks are over at work...so new ones begin. Ha! I went to my new doctor and it went well. He actually was familiar with some of the surgery protocol and willingly ordered everything suggested for my annual blood work. Had that done yesterday.
He also gave me a peracription for pain meds to try and help with my severe bone pain, no luck. But he said call in a week if it is t helping.
5 days ago I gave up diet Coke(waaaaaa) and my morning coffee with creamer. Trying to see if giving up carbonation would help with the bone pain as it can cause calcium loss in bones. I will do anything at this point!
food:
black coffee(attempting not sure)
shake
salad
mexican chicken egg bake(not as fancy as it sounds but pretty good)
my stomach has not been great lately so I'm trying to eat pretty plain. I do put some quest protein chips and edamame on my salad for protein

When I was first transitioning off coffee that was just a conduit for cream and sugar, I switched to some of the flavored coffees for awhile; maybe something like that could help you with the transition to black? I also drink cold brew black. I make my own concentrate - 1 cup grounds, 3 cups water, sit for 18-24 hours and then strain. When I want iced, I use about 1/3 c and fill the rest with cold water; when I want hot, I just add boiling water instead -- it is the only way I can drink black. Good luck with the changes!!

I am so glad to hear you finally found a doctor! Also, I was wondering what that faint sobbing sound was that was coming from Iowa... Now I can hear the faint whispers of *diet *coke* through your cries. Sorry.

I think I remember that and it's totally adorable! I have 'Robbie Baby' for Rob, but with all the B's it's not sexy at all when Curtis says it. I may play around with that or steal yours!! Curtis calls me Amy Darling
