I love the visual of running toward the light, even when it's a train. Same, same

Good morning, everybody!
My youngest got 4 of his 6 college applications filed over the weekend. He did good with the process and it was pretty painless on our end. Actually, much easier than the driving. The other two require longer essays, but those seem to be coming along as well.
On the car front we did go and make a Bronco reservation. They aren't even close to saying when it will come in. "Most likely 2022" is the closest that they are coming. Marilyn is excited, even though she will have to share my car with me once it gets too cold to drive her convertible around.
Five work days until vacation. We are leaving early Saturday, so will need to pack this week. It looks like it is still hot in California. Marilyn's Dad is coming out Friday to watch my youngest (probably for the last time since he will be 18 in January). We moved Happy Hour to Thursday for logistical reasons. A week from now, Kelly may be posting what a disappointment I was to meet in person. LOL.
QOTD: I think that I am a pretty optimistic person by nature.
Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese
Lunch:Salmon
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!
