What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning! We are in another HOT patch. High nineties again today. I've moved on to dreaming about our upcoming road trip in October because I know we are going to sweater and bootsweather . So far, I am most excited about that. Work was hard yesterday, but not overwhelming and I loved the new fish recipe I made last night -- and I stayed out of the wine. So, winning. Today looks boring so far, but as Chrissy would attest to, it only takes one phone call or email to send a salesperson day spinning out of control. So we'll see how the day goes!
QoTD: If it won't matter in five years, it doesn't matter now. Let it go. And with my husband, "I agree to disagree"... as I am walking away and thinking in my head "you are so wrong". Also, "don't bring mean home".
Menu:

Mernin' errybody. Happy Wednesday!
QOTD - well, I come from a family where we just didn't talk about things. So, I don't know that we had a motto. I guess it would have been "Shhh, dad is in one of his moods" or "Shhh dad is sleeping" God just typing that triggers me.
Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee and water
Lunch - we have a Fall spooky potluck so lots of choices! I made a black bean/corn salad, and my famous mac and cheese, and someone made a vegan lentil chili and there's lots of other stuff to choose from. I'm very excited!
Dinner - I ended up making vegan chili cheese dogs for me (regular for hubs) last night, so will follow up on nachos compuestos tonight!
I hope you all have a great day!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Wow Queen I want to work with the person who gives you great affirmations about your weight. That is a positive that you needed. Hopefully there will be a calm soon. I'm praying for you.
Still didn't get a chance to search for Gatorade yesterday I was very busy here at work. Hoping I find time to step out at lunch today. I am just so glad it is Wednesday. I actually can see Friday from here. Yeah!
QOTD: "If your not a half hour early you are late." My whole family is like this to bad my brother can't train my SIL. I'd like to kill her sometimes. She will agree to bring my mom to an event and end up an hour later than the plan it makes me so mad!!!!
Accountability: Maybe to many peanuts and dinner was Fajita inners since DH finished the fish for the tacos and the baked beans so I am done with those. Finally.

I meant to say this yesterday...girl, your 5K time is my goal, you are FAST!

I do, but seems like I have fallen into this pace and feel comfortable so my body refuses to go faster. That's why DH was trying to do HIIT with me, to speed up my pace. But honestly, I'm not competing, I don't like running races, the only reason I run is more bang for my buck to burn calories. I also just read that trail running speed (what I do in the woods) should not be compared to road speed...at least that's what I keep telling myself.

I agree with trail vs road. You got to really watch so you don't turn a ankle. My exercise time is usually a 10:31 or higher mile. I just run faster in the 5k cause I find someone to keep pace with and I go faster. That is just my race speed never my morning run.
