Start to handle everything by making an appointment with yourself for fifteen minutes every day. Do nothing in that fifteen minutes but sip on coffee and make your list of what to do for the day. Then assign priority to the other tasks and assign them a day and time. I use a Word document for my To Do List.
You might be able to assign some things to John. My husband used to take the car to be checked out, pick up prescriptions, fold laundry, and deal with things like plumbers or fire inspectors. The DMV is probably a nightmare on Saturdays. I would make that an all day Saturday project and include lunch in that day.
When I get into hassles over money, I just pay it and consider it money in the bank because sooner or later they will reconcile their books and send the money back.
I was in Venezuela about 10 years ago. My friend said that today we were going to the bank to cash a check. I figured that would take about ten minutes. When we got to the bank there were hundreds of people in line ahead of us. Everyone was happy and smiling. They talked with others like it was a huge party. When they heard me speak English, they asked to practice their English with me.
At lunchtime, people went to get food and others kept their place in line for them. There was only one national bank so that is where everyone had to go. They just spent their day there.
I met one lady who was a pharmacist and she owned her own pharmacy. It was a big store, like one of our Rite-Aid's. She said the one medicine that nobody used in Venezuela was Prozac. She said the people here are poor and oppressed, but they are all happy and never sad or anxious. She said people in the US have freedom and more of everything, but they are sad and anxious. She was rich, but said she could be much richer if people in her country would buy Prozac.
I am in the stage of life now where there is very little that I have to do and plenty of time to do it. I still do my 15 minutes of planning each morning. It takes away a lot of stress for me.

John is literally keeping me alive right now. He is doing everything for me right now, including making me eat and drink and sleep. I am so grateful for him!

Hello Menuers,
Had a pretty quiet weekend. Not much planned for the week just a couple of meetings. I did get my weight workouts restarted on Sunday so that is progress. It rained all weekend so didn't get my usual hike in with my daughter. I did make it onto the treadmill and it was nice yesterday so both dogs got their walks in.
QOTD: I had one history class I really enjoyed in high school since the teacher taught more modern history of the US. I also enjoyed the accounting class.
