What's on your Tuesday Menu?

I forgot I was going to make a gluten free gingerbread loaf. It's in the oven right now so that'll be my first snack instead of popcorn.

Melody, I put an Echo Dot in my bedroom and a smart plug for bedside lamp. It is so much better to just say "Alexa turn on the bedroom light" when I wake up in a dark room. And "Alexa, turn off the bedroom light" when I am ready to go to sleep. No more reaching for the light and knocking over a glass of water at 3:00 AM.

Later I realized I can just buy WIFI bulbs and don't even need the special plugs. I have all the lights in the living room and family room controlled by Alexa and can just tell her to turn the lights on in the morning and turn them off at night.

I wondered if setting it up was going to be a nightmare, but everything has worked right out the package.

G'morning y'all!

Doing better today. Up at 4:00 am and last night I stayed up till 7:00. Baby steps.

By Queen JB's decree I am allowed to share my pictures prior to Fri. So here are a few when we went to that wild boar restaurant.

Appetizer

First course - ravioli with wild boar meat. The one in green is an open ravioli (almost like an open face sandwich)...I didn't like it.

Main course - chocolate wild boar. J thought it would be like chicken mole but it was much more chocolatey and almost nutty. The meat was very tender.

Dessert: brunetta, like creme brûlé, but with chocolate and rum.

QOTD: All the subjects but math. I LOVED school and studying. Math was my Achilles' heel.

My meals yesterday (ADF)

  • B:
  • L: coffee + premier protein
  • S: coffee + premier protein
  • D:2 hb eggs + tuna
  • E: 10K jog

Happy taco Tue!

What a fun place to eat. I love places where they make delicious desserts that sound impossible. Like the Stinking Rose in San Francisco that features garli**** cream with chocolate sauce.

Those are great pictures and great memories for you.

Good Morning! JB- they need to hire you a personal assistant! I hope things settle down even a little bit soon. We are checked in to the Airbnb and the fumigation starts later so minimally chaotic but at least the cats are comfortable and nosing around.

QOTD: math

My menu will be pretty much the same as much as possible the next few days but may have to make adjustments so I won't post menu until we are back home. I did run in the garage here for a total of 3 miles this morning. I might not do each day but did today. I hope everyone had a great day.
