I'm glad to hear that. The last cruise we had an Indian head waiter and he would just bring us Indian treats for dinner that he picked himself.

Except for one river cruise we have always cruised on Royal Caribbean. Our Greenland/Iceland trip is Norwegian - hopefully it is similar.

My kids are stressing about setting sail without Crown and Anchor Society points. "We won't get pre-boarding..." Not sure how they would fare on the Oregon Trail.

Our only other cruise was Viking, and we were the youngest on the ship...by about 35 years.

I had a customer one time tell me he did not like Fat women as I sat on the other end of the phone over 300lbs. I told him I was an overweight women and he never believed me. Crazy the impression you can give over the phone and with a voice.

btw - I used to do phone tech support about 20 years ago. Once I had some guy on the phone with some tech issue. I told him to go under his desk and check something. He said he can't get on the floor and crawl under his desk - he said he was a "big guy". I wanted to say that I weighed almost 400 lbs and had no problem crawling under people's desks, but I kept my mouth shut...

For the record....I found a PCP to care for me, he is willing to do my annual blood work! I'm taking hubby with me because I'm afraid I won't advocate for myself well enough. I have a serious fear of not being treated and have had nightmares about it.

i also found an in person support group that's an hour away.

QOTD: Fat people are discriminated against and should not be. I am not that aware of the movement and I think most people who are seriously overweight would rather not be, but lack the resources for weight loss surgery. Insurance often does not cover obesity treatment. Learning to accept yourself at any weight is a good thing. I had to wait for Medicare to pay for my surgery.

This morning I have PT. Last time they worked me so hard that I could not walk the next day! We will need to hold back a little today. Its my fault as I have been pushing myself to build strength faster.

Menu: breakfast is a shake, lunch Turkey, dinner out at Bonefish Grill for fish. Yum.
