Good morning and happy Monday! I am sitting here with the windows open and it feels like fall. I am headed into town to grocery shop with my daughter. I love our Mondays together.

I did great on food this weekend for the most part. I took my cousin a big pan of chicken and dumplings yesterday. Her daughter has covid. I just knocked on the door, set it down, and walked away. She was very grateful. I did eat a small dumpling when I got home and I have zero regrets. My grandma used to make them for me when I was little. I used to call them clouds in gravy.

QOTD- Nope!

Food plan for today-

Eggwich

not sure on lunch, will grab something out with my daughter

either steak or chicken for dinner

I need will have a better plan after grocery shopping

Have a great day everyone!

I love chicken and dumplings! I made it for my grandpa all the time and he adored it. Such good comfort food.

Morning everyone! Happy MonYAY! (Is that a thing? I'm trying...)

QOTD - I sold Mary Kay (no, I bought the kit and used it myself...if I'm being honest). I do love Avon and I am happy to buy. I do have a doTerra account but only for myself. I love love love the oils. I use them, and have a huge collection but I don't sell to my friends, I don't post about it on FB, and I just use it for me. I use the diffuser, I make sprays for myself, but that's about it. I like to use during yoga, meditation. Makes me feel good.

Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee, and water

Lunch - no clue, didn't plan. Maybe veggie pizza?

Snack - I brought 1/2 peanut butter sammich

Snack - Kind Mini bar

Dinner - Guess who didn't plan? This chick. I do have frozen veggies, so maybe that with some scrambled tofu?

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

Glad you had a refreshing weekend dear. I hope everyone else had the chance to refresh also.

We did close the pool this weekend. It was in the high 80's yesterday and people were asking to use the pool. Oh well see ya next year. My weight has been a struggle. I do not feel I changed my lifestyle at all however the pounds keep finding me. I was warned it would happen around year 4 but 10 lbs. from the 4th of July really! ugh. I hate seeing the scale. I am still doing all the exercise and eating pretty much the same. However if I had 1 or 2 drinks on the weekend before it didn't really make a difference. Now it makes a difference. Has anyone (besides Karen) been able to hold on to there lowest weight? I am going to try to fight it off but I refuse to starve myself.

QOTD: My parents sold Amway back in the early 70's and if I am not mistaken that company is still around. However I understand a pyramid scheme and someone always gets burnt so I stay away.

Accountability: There was dinner out Saturday and there were bites of chocolate cake and Sangria

I have gotten down to my lowest weight a few times, but it was because I was not feeling well. When I am healthy and pain free, I seem to be about 12 pounds over my goal weight, which is 20 over my lowest.

it seems most people gain 10-20 lbs around year 3. I don't know too many who have stayed at their lowest weight, but there are a few.

I got down to 138 but then gained 12 lbs in year 3. (I thought I wouldn't be one of THOSE PEOPLE, but I was.....). I sat at 150 for about two years - figured I'd stabilized there, and that was fine by me (I actually looked better at 150 than I did at 138), but then I gained another 10 lbs during year 5. Not happy. And I can't get rid of it. Or put another way, I'm evidently not willing to do what I'd need to do to get it off (i.e, eat 1400-ish calories a day or become a gym rat). So here I sit.. I guess I've come to terms with it - but I'd better not gain any more weight!!!!

Mornin' Mornin', Gang! Wishing you all a fantastic start to the new week! My weekend was nicer than I expected and I feel ready for the week. Bring. It. On. :)

I got a haircut on Saturday (pics on Fri!) followed by a trip to Trader Joe's, then I was supposed to just put my head down and do about 12 hours of work... But my mom called and heard that was my plan, and decided to come "rescue me" so she showed up and to me out to lunch (tacos!). We did a few other things afterwards and it ended up taking the whole day. I was happy for the distraction, but a little worried about how to get everything done on Sunday, but it turned out to be okay!!! I worked by butt off from like 4am - 2pm and actually finished the really pressing things and took the rest of Sunday off, too! Yay!

QOTD: Have you ever been part of a direct sellers program/multi level marketing/pyramid program? I watched the LuLaRich documentary last night and was fascinated by all of it! I joined one once about 15 years ago and didn't really understand what it was... but literally never sold to anyone, and only lasted about 3 months before officially quitting. But I always get roped into going to parties for my friends who are selling something... I did like a lot of that Pampered Chef stuff back in the day!

Food this weekend was okay. I didn't make the greatest choices I could have, but I am still not feeling hungry, so thankfully my portions are tiny, even when I brought home a box of yummy pumpkin spice cookies from TJs!

Today:

B: Protein Coffee

S: TJs Breadless Eggwich

L: Chicken Taco

D: Chicken Kabob

Good morning ~ Happy to hear you had a lovely weekend after all the stress you have been under. Way to go mom getting your girl out of the house and feeding her tacos! I had a fabulous weekend with far too much to eat and drink - it was great. I am sore from head to toe and really feeling my age. I have interviews all day - we are having a hard time finding people who can pass a background check w/polygraph. When asked, they always answer that questions with NO - there is nothing in my background that would cause me to fail. Lying is why most people fail. Okay - wish me luck!

QOTD - Nope, never - can't rope me! It's so far out of my comfort zone anyway.

Good morning, everybody!

My back is sore, so I didn't get to do everything that I had in mind this weekend. Lots of time spent on the couch.

I did get to see my sister, brother-in-law and niece, which was great. My niece is moving to Chicago, because she went to college here and loves the area.

Marilyn is doing something fun next week. DD needs her golf clubs for a work event, so she asked us to ship them. It turns out that because of Southwest sales, it will cost the same amount to fly down and back as to ship the clubs. So she is going to fly down to Dallas, meet DD for lunch and fly back on the same day.

QOTD: We have never done them as a business. My work has a strict policy about outside employment, plus we have never really been interested. Marilyn has been to all the standard midwest ones (Pampered Chef, Tupperware, etc.) Back East, my friend's wife got invited to a True Romance Products party. The party host said you will never find you're husband's more available for childcare than that night.

Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese

lunch: omlette

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!
