Good morning everybody!
I guess that I will have to be the one to say this, but we are all reasonably sure that there are no border children? I'm 95% certain that it was just a boring afternoon spent with Internet trolling and Vodka/Xanax spritzes. But i'm also 5% worried.
I am not sure whether we are having school bus driver problems, but I know that traffic has been absolutely brutal in Chicago. Even though the city isn't that full, nobody is taking public transportation because of COVID concerns and everybody is driving.
The doctor's appointment went well, they think it was just a fainting spell. They are going to have her wear a heart monitor for a week as a precautionary measure.
I have a very social weekend planned. Happy hour tonight. Driving Marilyn to tennis at 7:15 tomorrow morning. Then I have to get my son and bring him to the gym with me, because we are meeting my Sister and my nieces for brun*****hicago. Sunday we have a cookout for the tennis ladies.
QOTD: When we were in Alaska, I actually had my first candy since surgery. Most days our lunches had bags of M&M's in them. I enjoyed them, but haven't thought about getting any more in the month since we have been back. 3.) Snickers, 2.) Almond Joy, 1.) Peanut butter Cup. With that said, there is an incredible variance in Peanut Butter Cup quality. Nothing beats a fresh cup. But an old cup with pasty peanut butter and preciously melted, grayish looking chocolate was the worst. My strategy was to get the seasonal cups or any new cup product since they were more likely to be fresh.
Breakfast: PB toast
Lunch: Hello Fresh
Dinner: Cabernet
Pictures are office view and Lego Mandalorian. (need to upload)

Love the lego Grogu!!
I am with you on the belief that whole scenario is fiction. I hope so anyway, otherwise it's some kind of trafficking situation.
glad the situation with Marilyn doesn't seem to be part of something more serious. Will
she be stopped from driving for a period? One of my friends had a random, never explained seizure and they banned her from driving for 6 months

It took about 7 hours to assemble, which was a perfect distraction the day after the accident. She particularly likes the mini Grogu on the sign.
The doctor said that she could drive right away, but we are going to take it a little slower. At least until the week with the heart monitor is completed.

Is that the pritzker pavilion at the bottom right?

Yes, Millennium Park. It's a little hazy, but past that is Soldier Field, and Museum campus.
I drove my daughter and her friends to Lollapalooza one year and worked while they were at the concert. Outkast was playing on one of the far fields and was so loud that they were shaking my office windows.

I just hope and pray it's fictional. Yikes.
my brother is a Star Wars nut and an even bigger lego nut. He has two of those and pretty much all of them. His favorite is the slave ship that was Boba Fetts. It's huge and I hate to know how much that was.
love the view!
