What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Queen JB your a work beast and that School district is lucky to have someone so devoted. I hope there are bonuses in your future for all your hard work. You so deserve it.
Billy Gardell who is a Pittsburgh native of Mike and Molly fame + tons more stuff finally game out as a WLS person. I was not shocked I heard he was contemplating for years and recently heard him speaking about his diabetes being out of control, He had it done in March and he looks great. So this brings me to something that came full circle for me this weekend. I had a friend who had WLS years ago before I understood what it was all about. I watched her loose her weight but never really knew it was WLS until I got the knowledge of what is was all about. So I was at a picnic Sunday and it is the first time she saw me in about 10 years. It was kinda cool to have that connection and I was introduced to her Daughter who just went through this in March. Both of them look wonderful but it is crazy how this surgery has become so common and has lost it's taboo status. It is a shame I can not get my SIL to do this. She said one time I took the easy way out. I reminder her often that she said it. Knowing it's no easy way out, I say I may have taken the easy way out in your mind, but what way out are you going to take because it looks like your health is going to take you in a casket. I love my SIL. LOL

Good morning JB and all~ To go through all of that and not to fill the position? Perhaps they heard you promoted and are holding out for you?!?! I hope you continue to make it work without getting too overwhelmed. Speaking of life balance, mine is out of whack. I feel I have no time to not worry and do nothing - there is always something pulling at me. Sometimes I think, okay, I can relax when I die - for now I want to get things done and enjoy life. But I get overwhelmed sometimes. I keep rearranging my schedule to make everything fit. I hope to find the sweet spot soon. I have a salaried position so I can work whatever hours I want, but I need a schedule. I'm going to try half days on Friday. I thinking that will help make Sat and Sun more quality days for me. Then there is time for exercise... I'm trying. I used to do this without a thought, what's changed so much? Anyway - I'm complaining about what everyone in life has to do, so I just need to suck it up and figure it out.
No appetite? Sign me up! I hope its nothing, yet continues - steady is so nice. I have the opposite problem, I'm always hungry lately so I am loading protein today, hopefully that will help.
QOTD - nothing really - little of this or that. Not much TV and now that football season is here, well that is all that is on and every sports talk show. I am hopeful this year for the Patriots - I was so upset when Brady left, then they got Cam - I can't stand him! Ever since that diva threw a fit after losing the Super bowl w/the Panthers - just no. I'm glad he is out and Mac is starting. I even started using my Pats mug again and will bring out my pats gear also. Last year, they stayed in the closet all season. Wait, what was the question?

I'd give it some time before I bailed. At least seeing a quarterback with the right style of play for their offense should go a long way.

Be kind to yourself! You have had a lot of change in a short times. New role, going back to the office, you just moved - all good changes but change is hard (and weighs on you cumulatively!)

QOTD- Manifest is my latest but there are many others.
I'm trying to figure out a way to get the Ducks games here, I'm thinking my only option is Sling with the PAC-12 package. I'm pretty sure I'll get the Seahawks games here. I don't think I can have my Dish here, I won't know for a bit. If I can get it I will be set.
They didn't have any work for me so it was an unexpected day off, I did go to Target, Safeway and finally made it to the beach.
I finally got my feet wet and enjoyed every moment. So I'd better get back to work.
Have a great day everyone!
