Mornin'!

Luckily DH doesn't have much work-wise to do today, or at least nothing he can't do while over at MIL's, so he plans to be there most of the day. Plus he wants to be there when the physical therapist comes (around noon) - as well as when the maintenance person comes to unclog her bathtub drain (sometime today - not sure when). So I may be a free bird!! I'm planning to bike over to the gym in about an hour to do weights (that is, if this rain holds off - if not, I may be DRIVING over to the gym, and doing something else for cardio). I'm hoping after this weekend she'll be well enough that we won't have to be there 24/7. If not, I'm wondering how she'll react if we broach the rehab idea. I'm just not excited about the possibility that we might have to continue to be there day and night. But we'll see. Maybe she'll be in better shape by Tuesday. I hope.

QOTD: Spirograph comes to mind. I also loved Creepy Crawlers and related goop-that-you-bake toys, but I never had any of those. A lot of my friends did, though - I loved playing around with those. I don't think they make those anymore - maybe too many kids got burned on those little oven things or something.

B: Ratio coconut yogurt with 1/2 diced mango, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: miso/chickpea sandwich

AS: plain Greek yogurt with blueberry compote. Maybe some fibrous or high fat thing, too (like some peanut butter?) to keep me from grazing

D: pulled pork?

have a great day, everyone!

You can still get the EZ bake oven things....but I think they tell you to use a smaller bulb now....I'm reasonably sure I still have some scars on my arms for EZ bake and creepy crawly bakers, lol

actually, it wasn't an EZ Bake oven (although I liked those, too!). It was this thing where you put different colors of gook into molds, and then you set the molds on this burner like thing until it "cooked". Then you'd pop whatever you made out of the mold. They had different versions - Creepy Crawlers made bugs - then there was a flower one and some jewelry one, I think. I'll see if I can find a page on the internet showing them. It was a big thing in the 1960s.
