We miss you JB! Hope you're doing ok :o)

Good mornin everyone...hope that you're doing ok.

I woke up with a swimmy head and even though I tried I couldn't get anymore sleep. It's going to be a long long day. I've got an appointment with my eye doctor and I'm a little nervous over it. I just hope my eyes are doing ok. I'm also not looking forward to the sitting. It's one of those appointments that take at least a few hours...usually 3-4. I so hate doctors offices that are run that way. My appointment is at 9 so we'll see if I make it out before lunch. Pain is pretty darn high already so...yay? lol

Thanks for y'all's support. I don't really get it very much elsewhere friend wise. Sometimes I feel very alone in this. My mom is great though and I'm thankful for her. I could really use some in person hugs. I see my neurosurgeon on the 27th to see what the next steps are.

QOTD:what's a common thing a lot of people do that really gets under your skin?

oh goodness...there is so so much! Since I have this long doctors visit today this is topping my list...waiting room chit chats. Eating with your mouth open. Someone I know well chomps when she eats. It's so gross and her kids all do the same. Hearing them eat chips or crunchy stuff is interesting.

Food will be a bit different. The liquid diet is just not going to do. For me it's not sustainable at this time. Soooo back to MFP and weighing and measuring.

B: JUST egg, cheese, chicken sausage and coffee

S: yogurt

L: PP shake and cantaloupe

S: ???

D: Frozen meal

Good Morning,

Mel, I'm sorry you have to go through all of this with no support system other then your mom - I know it's hard. You will come out on top though! I can feel it all the way down to my toes!

QOTD: let their children play unsupervised in condo parking lots. This is the second place I've lived where the kids are always playing h the parking lot and their parents are no where to be seen. Play at the park, or in the wonderful grassy courtyard! Geeeze.

I had my one year blood work yesterday - A1C is still in the prediabetic range (which honestly has me pretty disappointed) and it looks like my liver enzymes are elevated.. so I guess I'll see what my PCP and Bariatric team say at the end of the month. All vitamin levels are good though!

b: fairlife latte, 1 egg, 1 small low carb tortilla, 7g cheese and 1tbsp salsa

s: 175g plain Greek yogurt, 1/2tsp honey, 1 small peach and 25g granola

l: 2oz chicken breast, 50g sweet potato and 30g yellow beans

S: 1/2c cucumber slices with 1tbsp cream cheese and ebtb seasoning

d: 3oz ground Turkey, 1c lettuce, 15g cheddar, 20ml Greek yogurt and 10ml salsa

e: rest day today - so probably just take the dog for a decent walk

I think that almost everybody on here has, or has had, elevated liver enzymes.

elevated iiver enzymes are common for the first year or so after bariatric surgery. Weight loss is pretty tough on livers - esp rapid weight loss. I had mine rechecked when I was almost two years out, and they were back to normal.

Good morning everyone. I am loving this weather in the PNW. We are in the 50's at night and 70's during the day. It's the best sleeping weather.

I don't know if I shared this or not, but I cracked my bridge and had to have it replaced. They put the temporary one on Tuesday. Yesterday, I ate mustard with my fish and now my temporary bridge is stained mustard yellow. I am thankful for masks. 19 days until my appointment.

Melody- I hope you have a good appointment today and you can get your pain under control.

QOTD- I despise it when people ignore their children and are on their phones scrolling away. Little people need talked to and sang to and loved.

Food plan for today-

Eggwich

protein shake if needed. It's going to be a busy day and I will need to grab something quick

Bare nuggets in the air fryer with sugar free thai chili sauce.

persian cucumber

Lots of water and vitamins always

Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve! Melody, good luck at the appt, I hope the wait isn't bad. So after the inspection yesterday it seems our best option is to rent the house for the termites. It's not bad but if we try the less aggressive options it may not take care of it 100%. Now just waiting to see when we can schedule it but most likely in Sep. ugh!

QOTD: Loud chewing is top of my list.

TSS: 7 years

B: SF latte, Pear, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage

L: Chicken salad, carrots, and a pear

S: Protein puffs, mixed nuts, an apple and yogurt

D: Tri tip, chompies garlic toast, sliced orange/banana, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: Greek yogurt with ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: Elliptical and treadmill

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1541 Protein:132 Carbs:135 Fat:57

Have a great one!

We tented early this year. It wasn't awful, and it did serve to clean out a ton of stuff we just don't need. So there's that. But I agree. We tried the other options and that was just throwing good money away. I was mad we didn't just go for the tent to begin with.

Yeah, I would hate to spend so much money on the other options and end up tenting.
