What's on your Tuesday menu?
We've never been to French Laundry either. In fact, I've only been to Napa once before! We were going to a steak house that a chef friend recommended, but we've moved that part of the trip from actually being in Napa to Healdsburg. Some friends are driving up to spend those three days with us. I need to find a great restaurant in the Healdsburg area!
Gavin Newsome aside, we've heard a lot about French Laundry. Stories of it's amazing wine list, stellar food and stroke inducing final check! Definitely on our bucket list.
We enjoyed The Girl and the Fig. Try and visit Jordan if you can, it's a beautiful facility.

Keeping our fingers crossed. We have a party of 8 which further complicates things.

Good morning Mel and Menuers,
It looks like Ida is heading our way. We are expecting 3-5 inches of rain tomorrow. Ivan was the last time we saw that kind of rain back in 2004 I think. Fortunitly I live on a hill and no chance of flooding for me. I just worry for the people at the bottom of the hills. It got very ugly last time. I remember having to drive in some crazy directions to avoid the flooded areas and it took me 2 hours to get from work that was normally a 20 min drive. Fingers crossed my commute will not be effected.

So ended up getting a German Shepard Puppy on Friday. Now understand that I do like dogs, just don't like owning them because honestly they are very needy not like a cat or even my horses. Well my husband who is retired does like dogs and since we put our Beagle down last year he's been kind of sad about not having a dog. His oldest son got a male puppy a month ago and brought it over.
Of course my husband fell in love. So his son went and bought him one a little female. I had to set some ground rules because I feel dogs should be part of the family and not left outside (that was an issue with the Beagle). They both agreed and I got to name her. So this is Meisha she is 9 weeks old and loves me (great). Finley my cat is slowly adjusting. I did training with her over the weekend and my husband is doing it during the week as I work. She is super smart and I'm hoping things go smoothly during the puppy stage.
QOTD: Spring, Summer and Fall. Only like Winter on Christmas other than that I had the cold, snow, and ice.
B: Squash and Eggs
L: Tomato and cucumber salad
D: Not 100% sure probably some veggies out of the garden
