What's on your menu Friday, RNY'ers
Good morning~ TGIF! I'm off today. I have a bunch of errands to run, then getting fitted for new running shoes then off to my sisters to float in her pool! It's supposed to get up to 85 so it will be really nice. Yesterday ended up being a **** show for food and lots of wine. That is what happens when I don't plan! Horrible thing to do before having to run on a treadmill - bloated, achy with a wicked headache. Today I am planning so that shouldn't happen again. Even my sister - we are having salad with chicken, no wine for me!
QOTD - Can I have 2?? Tomato w/Best Foods (Hellman's) mayo. My favorite since I was a kid. Then it was on white bread, now it's San Luis Sour Dough cracked wheat. My second would be the day after thanksgiving turkey sandwich also on SLSD cracked wheat.

i forgot about the after Thanksgiving sandwich. We were strict Catholics. That turkey would be in the refrigerator and I would want a turkey sandwich so bad. But I had to wait until Saturday because meat was forbidden on Fridays.
I remember once asking my father if I could have a turkey on Friday. He said that anyone who ate turkey on Friday would spend eternity in the deepest pits of Hell.
Once in Catholic school, a girl said that she had eaten steak on Thursday and a piece of it was stuck in her tooth on Friday. The nun told her that she must remove it from her mouth and not swallow it because that would be a terrible sin. She would have to go to Hell if she died before she got to confession to be absolved.

Happy Friday!!! I could not be more happy to have this day finally here. such a long week! I'm trying for an easier day today and I'm not even sure how many hours I've put in but it's a lot.
QOTD: If you could only have one type of sandwich for the rest of your life what would it be? you can still have other foods but only one type of sandwich. i would have to go with a fried chicken sandwich. super krispy.
I did a bit of cleaning yesterday after work, did finally throw away several containers of protein powder that i was not fond of and not really eating
food plan today, i have nothing prepped. I have yogurt carrots and hummus, lunch meat, some shaved beef that i need to do something with.
i plan to leave the house later for errands and the gym and to take the garbage to the place with DH.
QOTD: I think I would go with a manwhich sandwich, haha.
Today I ran many errands, so the best meal of the day was a grilled chicken salad with avocado!
