What's on your menu Friday, RNY'ers
Happy Friday!!! I could not be more happy to have this day finally here. such a long week! I'm trying for an easier day today and I'm not even sure how many hours I've put in but it's a lot.
QOTD: If you could only have one type of sandwich for the rest of your life what would it be? you can still have other foods but only one type of sandwich. i would have to go with a fried chicken sandwich. super krispy.
I did a bit of cleaning yesterday after work, did finally throw away several containers of protein powder that i was not fond of and not really eating
food plan today, i have nothing prepped. I have yogurt carrots and hummus, lunch meat, some shaved beef that i need to do something with.
i plan to leave the house later for errands and the gym and to take the garbage to the place with DH.

Good morning and happy Friday! It's going to be a good end of summer weekend, I think.
I have a concert tonight, 3 hours of pilates on Saturday and an outdoor art fair with a friend on Sunday so busy, busy.
QOTD - I can take or leave sandwiches but I love my PB toast so I'd probably go with PB&J
menu today
I have to finish up the last grilled chicken breast so that will be two meals, then I have scoped out the dinner menu where we're headed before the concert. I'm thinking either a watermelon caprese salad or pork green Chile.
for photo Friday
the bes****ermelon and feta salad I've ever had (in Krakow)
a flashback to one of my eclipse photos since it came up in my memories this week
and finally, for those of you that have never seen the new growth on a Colorado Blue Spruce...it's amazing how blue it actually is. This is my backyard one.
have a spectacular weekend!

Good morning, everybody!
LOL, this kid has some explaining to do when he gets home.
About 1.07 million people were watching this live on ESPN (Little League World Series). Hopefully, its a random internet celebrity and not one of the team parents, at least. #Stacy'sMom.
Today is my third surgiversary. I had my nutritionist appointment yesterday, then bloodwork and today I meet with the Baritrician. They seemed fairly pleased, but I would like to be about 10-15 pounds lighter. Cynthia tells me that maintenance is a range and not a number, but I would like to be towards the lower end of my range, I guess.
The big blood draw kind of knocked me out. I was able to drive home, but felt pretty bad, so I cancelled an afternoon call and lay down for a bit.
Although I am the WLS patient and she is not, my Iron and Ferriten levels are about 15X higher than Marilyn's. My Nutrionist said that it could be from all of the tennis that she plays. I guess that runners and tennis players can develop low iron levels because the trauma of their feet repeatedly hitting the asphalt will break up red blood cells in the capillaries of their feet. I had never heard of this, but looked it up and its a real thing.
For the weekend, it's Happy Hour, Crossfit and a haircut.
Photo is the halibut that Marilyn made from our catch in Alaska
QOTD: I'm not in on the hot dogs and hamburgers are sandwiches thing. So, I'm going to say PBJ.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: Going to Jersey Mike's
Dinner: Far Niente Chardonnay
Have a great day, all!
