Good morning everyone. QJB mentioned that she wouldn't be starting us off today. I hope that you're feeling better this morning JB!

My pain levels have been pretty darn high. My mood is also at the bottom of the barrel. Oh well.

No big plans for the day. It'll be nice to have some time to do nothing.

Can't seem to think of a QOTD so please feel free to add one!

B: JUST egg, cheese, chicken sausage and coffee

L: PP shake - banana

D: no idea prob another shake

S: Yogurt and maybe a peach.

Good morning and happy hump day! We're halfway through the week...and this is the last Wednesday in August -- how did THAT happen?

I have a pilates class after work and virtual book club for a book I did not read so it's an exciting day.

menu today

bulletproof coffee

coffee plus half and half X2

peppadew peppers and motzarella

chicken kabob pieces

Have a great day everyone!

Hope you feel better JB and you too Melody.

Super stressful day today ( all day legal deposition so big fun ). Last nite I was exhausted from preparing ( typically thought of ten more things to do which I?ll try to get in before it starts) and could hardly sleep .

I expect to eat something fortifying- maybe a breakfast 2 egg sandwich or something else greasy ( it helps me think ). Coffee and tea of course l.

Lunch - whatever?s on offer or a bit of buffet ( there are lots in NYC )

Dinner ( probably super late ) will start with a giant glass of red wine n seltzer lol . We have about three hundred pages of documents to work through and evaluate.... so this may turn out to be a multiple day ordeal . Still I?m proud of myself for showing up and doing the best job I can :)

Please wish m luck - I NEED it ! Ty :) :)

Good morning, everybody!

I'm going into the office again today. Decided that I will go in one day a week, at least until directed otherwise. Last week, was frankly, a waste of time and money, but I'm not going to rock the boat. At least until we move and I don't go in at all.

Marilyn's Dad is flying home today, so we will be back to three people in the house for the time being.

We had our first halibut from our Alaska trip last night. It was very good. Marilyn made it with a soy sauce and pineapple recipe. I will post a picture Friday.

QOTD: Do you read the rest of OH? I used to read a lot of sections, but lately have just been on this RNY board.

Breakfast:protein bar

Lunch: steak

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

QOTD - I usually read this one and check the general board; a lot of newbies seem to start there so try to watch for opportunities to help.

I used to read everything, but it's just RNY anymore. I really should be more supportive to the newbies - I will make an effort.

QOTD_ I only post here and read here on this thread.

I'm on countdown for our vacation. im so ready to be away. I'm just a bit anxious of covid but feel like i'm not at any increased risk when everyone getting on the ship has to be vaxxed and has to be negative prior to boarding. and they have to wear masks which is WAY more that what I get in 'real' life. most of the people in my town are rednecks and don't feel they need to mask up. It's way country here... They are also running on less than 1/4 volume so this will probably be the only time in our lives where you kind of have a ship to yourself.
