What's on your Tuesday Menu?
I hate to say it, but I pretty much have nausea on and off all my years since RNY.
Some days is worse than others. I get Rx for nausea meds and they work great for me. I often just chew 1/2 or a whole one as I start getting nausea. I keep them in my purse, my car, nightstand, in the bathroom cabinet, etc. Kind off anywhere because if I don't act quickly on first symptoms, I can get really sick. Often, chewing just 1/2 pill I can stop the nausea from getting worse. The pills are not chewable, and are yuck, but better than full nausea with dry heaving.
BTW: do you have a GB? if yes, it may be good idea to ask the doc for GB scan.

Ugh that stinks! I am pretty sure this is just a bug because Grim is feeling a little off, too. I hope it doesn't last, but it is sure good for cutting my appetite.

Believe me, I get it. Plus - nausea is our body response when something is not right, and that helps prevent us from eating when our insides are trying to fight with it. Sometimes a
If anything else, I keep some chewable nausea OTC n my car, Bonine (or store brand equivalent). I first use them during a cruise and surprisingly they really helped. They suppose to last 24 hours, and since they could make me drowsy, when on a cruise I would chew one app 30 min before going to bed, and that really helped.
When I used to relay on them, to help the worse nausea, I would chew 1/4 of one if needed during the day.

Hello Eveyone,
Has anyone noticed that cold brew coffee that you can purchase in the store has calories? Where does these calories come from? I have found a brand that is no calories (thank you god!), otherwise I wouldn't get to have my coffee in the morning. I used to be a diet coke drinker but since surgery I have abstained due to the carbination. I haven't really missed it but it is nice to get some caffiene through cold brew coffee. Prior to surgery I wasn't a coffee drinker.

The only cold brew I've noticed with calories usually had cream/milk/some kind of sugar; I make mine own, which is so much easier after someone recommended the cold brew bags from Amazon; just like tea bags, but you put your grounds in it. I make it on Sunday and have enough concentrate for the week; then I add cold water if I want an iced one or ho****er for hot coffee.

The Starbucks Iced Coffee I drink is just black coffee, but it has 15 calories a serving! I googled it awhile back and discovered that a reg cup of black coffee has 5 calories and the serving size of the Starbucks is just bigger... so they can have some surprise calories!

You can buy the Califa brand and Starbucks cold brew coffees in large bottles (multiple servings), that is were I noticed that the cold brew had calories even when all black! However, I found a brand called Bizzy Brew that has zero calories so I buy that. I don't need empty calories in coffe. I had noticed that Starbucks lists 5 calories for their black coffee at their stores, but sometimes you want a treat.
