I like the Brooks Ariels - they are the female version of the Beasts for men. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Brooks running shoes.

I adore my Brooks Adrenaline GTS! I was fitted at a running store and these were the best. Love them :)

I had a pair of Ghost that were super comfy, but not cute - I'm so over that now. It's all about healthy feet and saving my joints and bones!

Good morning, everybody!

I slept until about 4:00, laid in bed unable to sleep for what seemed like hours, and then, just as I was about to get up, fell asleep until 9:00. That's 4 commas in one sentence, guys.

Has anybody heard from Work in Progress? I haven't seen her around for a bit. I think that she said her work was getting very busy.

QOTD: In actuality, I don't have anything because whatever is in the shower was put there by Marilyn. But I'm a basic shaving cream, soap, shampoo guy. If I use the conditioner it is by accident. I have an actual bar of soap. Marilyn bought them as stocking stuffers for her male relatives. I will see if I can find a picture.

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: Mahi burger

Dinner: fish

Have a great day, all!

G'morning all!

I remember those straws; I bought them for the kids. I thought they were nasty.

QJB - hopefully you feel better today, stomach bugs are the worst.

I think I compensated for what QJB couldn't eat yesterday because I def ate for two. I tried to be OK with the scale that hadn't moved after a whole week of eggfast but finally I got my frustration out on myself as usual. Confession time: I binged yesterday.

QOTD: I'm kinda low maintenance when it comes to products. I have a shampoo, a conditioner and a body wash. DH goes with whatever I put in the shower. His only addition is a body wash that his gym at work uses and he likes it. Otherwise he uses my same shampoo/conditioner, whatever brand that may be.

My meals yesterday

  • B: fast
  • L: 2 hb egg + tuna pouch
  • S: brownie coffee icecream X 2
  • S: cold brew boba ice cream 1/4 cup
  • D: ground Turkey & veggies + rice
  • S: chocolate brownie quest bar X 2
  • E: 6 miles jog

Happy taco Tue.

Yeah, very yum. Trader Joes always comes up with the best combos. They are like cookie icecreams, but brownies, with coffee icecream in the middle.

QOTD- Shampoo, conditioner, and 3 body washes. Small shower and small shelf so that's about all I can fit. I love to have a variety of body washes so I can pick my favorite for the day.

Keep your fingers crossed I may have a place for my horse in Maui. The woman I talked to was so nice and helpful. She has a horse that she has been training, she loves the horse but the owner is major drama and not happy so she may be leaving. It sounds like a really nice place and a good community, she also will check on some other options for me.

The house still feels like a disaster, but it's probably not as bad as I think. Most of everything is packed and the only things left to pack will be done the night before.

I wanted to make one last trip to Timberline Lodge before I left, but I don't think I'll have time. If you've watched The Shining it's the exterior of the lodge used in that movie. It's a beautiful place, but I'll see it next time. I was also trying to see a friend I used to work with who now lives in Spokane but I don't have time for that either. No need to go to the beach as I'll be at a much warmer one next week. It's kind of like a farewell tour to my favorite places, but I will be back.

Have a great day everyone!

At 73, I have no wrinkles and people think I am much younger. I owe that to genetics and also to Dove. I will use nothing else on my face and body and have not for the last 40 years. I don't use any face moisturizers, lotions or creams. Just Dove and water.

In the shower, I have a container of Dove Body Wash and a bar of Dove. I have a scalp brush, a mesh bag that hold soap slivers, a razor and shave cream. I really don't need to use the razor, but still do. I have Biolage shampoo and conditioner. Everything has been in the same place for years and just gets replaced as I use it up.

Nausea is miserable. Saltines sounds like a good plan. Hope this passes quickly. Take care of yourself.
