What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Whew yesterday was weird. My nausea hit hard again when I got to work, and I only lasted an hour before I needed to leave. I worked from home all day but just felt awful for most of it. I was on a zoom call with a ton of new employees and I broke out in a sweat that had to be visible. Not pretty. Anyway, a piece of bread, a 1/2 flour tortilla and a ton of Pesto Bismol was all I managed to get down all day.
QOTD: Do you use a lot of products in the shower? I always have to laugh when I take a shower, because I have 3 different shampoos, conditioner, a body wash, a face wash, a face scrub, etc, etc, etc. Meanwhile, Grim has one bottle of shampoo that claims to do it all, haha. I am not sure I am any prettier for all of the different types of soap I own, but I would feel so weird with just one product!
I have PTSD from food-induced nausea, so I am scared to even think about a menu. I think I might just stop at CVS for my way in or a sleeve of saltines and call that breakfast, lunch, and dinner? I don't even care about carbs... I just need to feel stable.

Good mornin JB but sorry to hear you're still having those issues. Nausea is no fun...maybe there is a bug going around in your workplace?
Yesterday was pretty awful for me. I had over 7 panic attacks. Not sure what the heck was going on. You'd think after such an exhausting day I'd sleep better but noooooo I did not. The CT scan report had me on edge but the panic attacks started before I read it.
I have an appointment today with my eye specialist...we'll for testing anyway. I see the doctor next week. I am not looking forward to this at all. Lots of sitting and lots of pain. There will be a dye test too. Just hoping I get a good tech that doesn't have to poke me a lot.
QOTD: I have two shampoos and 1 conditioner, body scrub, shaving cream and body wash.
I have to use up my egg replacement so I'll be eating that for breakfast and having shakes the rest of the day...
B: JUST egg, cheese, chicken sausage and coffee
L: PP shake - banana added
D: PP shake with a peach blended in
S: half a mango.

hi all
QOTD: i like shower stuff- at least 2-3 body washes, scrub, face wash, 3 shampoos (so i can make my scalp confused), 2 conditioners. razor and cream. I'm sure there is more than that. Then i use a leave in conditioner or two after.
I woke up at 5, well the dogs woke us up at 4 to potty, then i laid there for another hour wishing i could go back to sleep. so i got up and been doing stuff in the house- 3 orders going out, unloaded dishwasher, had coffee and just starting work.
I hope you get some answers why you are sick soon.
Our vacation is coming up very soon and I'm paranoid i will get covid before then and not be able to go.
food plan:
b: egg whites/low carb wrap/ coffee/water
l: cauli rice with mushrooms, egg whites, and a seasoned shaved pork
s: lightlife non hotdog hotdog
d: either bbq shaved pork OR shaved beef taco what ever you want to call them
QOTD: Just 3 products, 2 different shampoos and one body wash.
I start physical therapy for my knees today. This is more for strength then pain although I have enough of pain. It will make them even more sore at first.
menu. Shake, yogurt, and no clue after that. Will be going to the store today.
Hey! Is the nauseous new? Is it caused by eating or is it random? I've been struggling with nauseous caused by anything I eat To the point I've had to have Doug pull over so i could heave.
TMI but Constipation could be an issue?
Yes, constipation can cause nausea.
I hate to say it, but I pretty much have nausea on and off all my years since RNY.
Some days is worse than others. I get Rx for nausea meds and they work great for me. I often just chew 1/2 or a whole one as I start getting nausea. I keep them in my purse, my car, nightstand, in the bathroom cabinet, etc. Kind off anywhere because if I don't act quickly on first symptoms, I can get really sick. Often, chewing just 1/2 pill I can stop the nausea from getting worse. The pills are not chewable, and are yuck, but better than full nausea with dry heaving.
BTW: do you have a GB? if yes, it may be good idea to ask the doc for GB scan.

It's new. And Grim seems to have it a touch, too, so I think we just caught a little bug :(
People say I am full of **** all the time, but I don't think this is one of those times...

Mornin' All!
I missed yesterday morning because my MIL was admitted to the hospital with a bowel obstruction and hernia - so she had emergency surgery overnight. She didn't want the surgeon to call DH until after the surgery, so he got the call at 5:00 am - so they must have wheeled her in to the OR around 3:00 in the morning. Yikes! It must have been bad (and I know bowel obstructions can be fatal). She'll be in the hospital for about a week, they're predicting. We didn't go over yesterday because the nurse on the floor when DH called said she was pretty out of it, and she may be better (and up for visitors) today - so I'll go over this afternoon and DH can go over this evening (only one visitor allowed with COVID going on...). Plus on top of that, I had meetings pretty much all day yesterday, so it's probably just as well. But today is more open - I have one meeting at 9:00, and then I need to do weights sometime today, and that's it...
today is my official weigh-in day, and my weight is inexplicably up. UGH! Why does this happen so often on my weigh-in day? (i.e., the weight I record in MFP). I must have had a lot of sodium yesterday - not sure. But not happy. And esp not happy since starting tomorrow, I'm facing a minefield - restaurant meals every day through Saturday. UGH.
QOTD: I have my regular shampoo and conditioner, plus the baby shampoo I'm supposed to use for now because of my facelift incisions (although they're all healed and/or scabbed over at this point - so I can probably go back to the regular stuff). Plus body wash. Fortunately, I don't have to shave anymore - I have very little hair left on my arms, legs, and arm pits....and what's there is super sparse, fine, and white, so it's not noticeable at all. Haven't shaved my pits or legs in forever. I read that that's not uncommon when people get older. Not sure why that is - but I'm glad for it. I used to be really self-conscious about the dark hair on my arms and legs when I was younger- but it's all gone now.
B: protein shake blended with kale, frozen strawberries, and ice. Coffee with half & half
MS: my meeting is at a coffee place, so I'll probably get an iced latte made with 2% milk and SF syrup
L: miso/chickpea spread on 35-cal whole wheat bread with cucumber and tomato slices, 1 C coleslaw topped with 1.5 T Asian-style dressing
AS: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with 1/4 diced mango -- or else a grilled peach topped with vanilla greek yogurt
D: not sure. I may just zap something that's in the freezer
ex: weights for sure. Cardio by the end of the day if it looks like I'm getting high-ish on calories (I've done cardio every day for quite awhile - so I CAN take the day off if my intake is on the low side...and I'm striving for that...)
have a great day, everyone!
