Good morning. Happy Monday. I'm getting organized to go get some groceries and hopefully find a few bright pillow to finish up my patio. Awning is up and looks awesome. Photo on Friday. Also have lunch with my girlfriend and a haircut today. Yesterday from 7 to 2 was spent working on the yards and patios and painting and cleaning. Super productive day. I did excellent on my food choices but rewarded my day's hard work with some Cabernet sitting in the new area I created in the front yard. And then I made an awesome dinner. A good way to do a Sunday.

QoTD: Yes, very much so. I've been involved in many organizations over the years, but the last ten or more have been devoted specifically to the non profit we founded. Raising funds to support vocational programs and students at the high school level. Our small group has raised and donated/granted over $250,000.00 in our years. We focus on non traditionally college learned careers with one exception. Teaching. We try to reach as many kids as our funds allow, and figure helping teachers helps the most kids. We took a pause during COVID, but have scheduled a meeting to start ramping up for next month. We hope to pull off our annual golf fundraiser. Check it out! Www.theKMMF.com.

B: hb egg

L: monthly lunch date with my girlfriend, so it will be chicken fajitas split between us

Let me know about your awning. Retractable, right?

Yes! It's a thing of beauty. Next week they are adding the wind sensor so it will retract in higher winds rather than get damaged.

Can you send me the link of the one you got? We are interested in putting one on our deck and that wind sensor sounds really cool.

Good Morning All,

I usually have Mondays off but my son's 17th birthday is on Friday so I switched my week around to work W-Th instead. I had a nice weekend. Saturday we went searching for a new drum set for my son (his bday present). The plan was to spend X amount but went way over since my husband wanted to add new cymbals and hardware. However, my son is in love with his new drum set. He really disliked his old set. the new plan is to sell the old set and whatever we get for it will offset the overage in what we spent. Sunday, my daughter and I went for a couple mile hike/walk since the weather has cooled down to the mid-70s. It is the same one we did last spring, it was alot easier for me since I am down about 35 lbs from the last time I did the hike! A NSV for sure! I am hoping that it will warm up to the 80s a few more weekends so I can get back out in the kayak before it really starts cooling down.

My hair has been falling out like crazy. I know that it is expected due to the stress of surgery and low calories. It is kinda scary to see the hair brush. I can tell my hair has thinned. Luckily with the hair style I wear it is not super noticable. I am using Biotin and zinc. This weekend I also started a collagen peptide to see if that will help with growth. Does anyone have any suggestions otherwise?

QOTD: My kids and I had been volunteering at the animal shelter but haven't done that in awile. I probably should find some activity to do since my school is now finished.

My hairdresser says to save your money, it just takes time and none of the topicals or supplements change that. It's frustrating but just a moment in time!

I agree with Jen. I tried the biotin and all it did for me was make me have worse facial hair...not good in my case lol. My doctor said it just takes time for our bodies to recover.
