QOTD: hah! My husband has the goal of making me faster on my runs but that's HIS goal. I'm actually happy with my routine. 3 days of jog (cardio) and 3 days of weight training. My trainer changes routine and weights on me regularly so that I am progressing and getting stronger. I never thought I would actually like working out but now I do, not so much the cardio days but def the weight days.
My meals yesterday (eggfast - day 1)
- B: bullett coffe (1 egg)
- L: egg salad (3 eggs)
- S: egg custard (1/2 egg)
- S2: hb egg (1 egg)
- D: egg loaf (2 eggs)
- E: 5.5 miles jog

That used to be my face when I reached the bottom of the bag of Doritos.
Had a good day yesterday. Met the stucco people and the owner stepped out of his car, looked at my house, laughed out loud and said "what the heck did we do?" He brought guys with him, and they got right on taking the leopard spots out of my house. Fixing up the few last bits too. So I think we are almost done with that stage!
Food yesterday was definitely an issue for me. I was hungry/not hungry all day and added a protein bar (which was only my 4th one post surgery, my doctor bans them). The protein bar did not sit well with my stomach. But man did the chicken we grilled for dinner make my tummy happy.
QoTD: I need and want to get back into a yoga routine. I am currently doing 50 squats a day for 30 days, along with modified push ups and chair presses. I hate it. I'm hoping for some muscle definition. But I hate doing them. I'm trying to decide what I do at the end of the month. Like just stop? Keep going and hating? Ugh. And I seem to have decided to keep two of the pounds I jumped up a few weeks ago. I keep trying to convince myself it's muscle. I know I'm crazy.

I'm glad to see this site is back up. I tried getting on for a couple of hours earlier this morning with no luck.
As my late college friend Margaret used to say "You'd better get out of my way - I feel a ***** mood coming on...". I'm ticked off about a potential billing mistake that I first contacted my Chicago plastic surgeon's office about over a month ago - and it's STILL not resolved despite several emails and phone calls from me. And I just got back home from my annual meeting with my financial advisor. He told me after the first 10 minutes that he had nothing else to talk to me about, since I didn't turn in any of my reports from my other companies. Ah yes....I did. Over a week ago. He never got them. I was ticked at him - but it's really not him, it's the guy at the reception desk whom I handed them to. He never passed them on to Jeremy (my advisor). ARRRRRGGGGGHHHH. I am so ticked off. I spent forever getting all those ready and then printed out at the library (because we don't have a printer at home). And of course the reception guy is on vacation this week, so Jeremy will have to wait 'til next week to ask where the hell they are. He said once he sees them he'll do the projections and also advise me if I need to move any money around - but this will take place over email instead of in person. I would have rather had this discussion in person. Ugh. I am so ticked off. Hopefully this day will start going better. I rarely have crappy days, but I'm feeling it today.
QOTD: my only exercise goal is to get exercising again. I don't know why I'm finding it to be such a chore lately. It's probably having that month off after surgery (I was only allowed to walk - which I did very little of). I'm having a hard time getting back into my normal exercising thing again. I have a meeting with a personal trainer at my gym tomorrow, though, so hopefully that will get me going again.
B: piece of cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie (with some mango puree mixed in -- and 1/4 diced fresh mango on top). Coffee with half and half.
MS: protein shake
L: chickpea/miso spread on 35-calorie whole wheat bread with cucumber and tomato slices.
AS: ?? probably L&F yogurt and/or 1/2 a protein muffin
D: vegetable curry - on a roti if I have enough calories left
ex: did a walking video this morning. Better than nothing...

Like others I had trouble getting into OH this morning. Was a bit nervous that I had been put in the penalty box.
4 goals remaining:
1) 10 pull-ups without letting go of the bar
2) Handstand push-up
3) Linda workout: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 of body weight bench press, 1 and 1/2 body weight deadlift, 3/4 body weight clean
4) Glen Hero workout: 30 clean and Jerk 135 pounds, 1 mile run, 10 rope climbs, 1 mile run, 100 Burpees

Yay Tuesday! I have a concert tonight, rescheduled from last July. It's at a great venue up in Boulder called Chautaqua....would have been much nicer on the original Saturday than Tuesday, but it will be good. I always love the Indigo Girls. I have been watching the concert requirements popping up and very pleased with so many venues going to proof of vaxx or negative covid test in 48-72 hours, plus masks where appropriate due to Delta transmission rates. This venue is only enforcing masks for everyone, but while it's technically an indoor location, it's a very drafty old barn so it's kind of indoor/outdoor, lol.
QOTD - unusually for me, I am not currently working on an exercise goal. I have checked off each of the ones I was working towards so I need to figure out what is next. I've really been focusing on increasing difficulty and precision on certain skills like pike on the chair in my pilates class so at least I feel like I'm challenging myself. I find it funny when some of the other women complain about the classes getting harder, I mean it is called a WORKout.
I think we are meeting at Jason's deli tonight for dinner so I"ll have a salad there; I've already had an English muffin, all the coffee and a bit of popcorn.

I relate to that meme.
I've not been doing great. Nothing new but i'm exhausted and pretty broke(financially). I have been going through a lot of supplies and making some things. I made a tutorial that people say they wanted. I sold 5 so that was defeating. I think I'll make some pendants today and try and get them up on Etsy. I have some ornament ideas but a very limited supply. I also have an exciting project in the works so I at least have that to look forward to!
qotd: just to not be in pain and be able to walk or ride my bike. Not to bright of future on that with the Covid stuff filling the hospitals.
