Whats on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Julia your are cuter than a frog in a hat. I am so happy to hear great news about your interview. As soon as you start your new position it looks like you'll have some extra time to exercise. And it may even be a less stressful school district to work for. That will get you back and comfy in you summer dress up clothes. Your going to do great.
Well I am running on empty. The power went out around 7:30PM last night. DH had a power pack and plugged in a lamp for me to clean and cut my berries. After that really couldn't do much more so I TicToked till I finally headed to bed. I had a hard time sleeping because I need the TV on to sleep and no AC did not help. Power came back on at 2AM so got some relief but forgot I was in the middle of braising the beef shanks when the power went out and didn't turn off the burner. So glad I smelled it before it started a fire. I really though getting out of bed was going to be hard but I wa having a hard time sleeping anyway so i went for a run nd got my Beef braised and read so DH can just put it in the oven this afternoon and dinner should be ready when I get home.
my only plans for the weekend is getting organized for our short trip to the beach. My vacation plans include running the boardwalk every morning and hanging on the beach till the sun goes down. We will only really have 3 days of beach since Saturday and Wednesday will be travel days.

Good morning~ Happy to hear that your interview was amazing! How long will the torcher of knowing the outcome last?!? It's a scary and exciting place to be. Yesterday was FULL of relief for some projects that I've been working on. One in particular that had me over stressed for 2 weeks, is now complete! Complex, but not as difficult as I thought so I'm happy. Today I am off at 12:30, getting a pedi then meeting my kiddo for lunch (didn't go yesterday I was too busy to get away). Looking forward to having some fun and relaxing this weekend without major projects or chores on the agenda.
QOTD - I used to iron everything, now I iron nothing! I'm careful about the materials I buy and I hang everything right out of the dryer. I do have a steamer that I use on Robs suits to freshen them up between dry cleanings and occasionally his/my shirts.
