Whats on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
At his work they are still wearing masks at all times.
In our county indoor masks are back.

WOW those photos are incredible. What a cool getaway.
Praying for DH--how scary for him! We keep getting emails every week saying someone in our building had it but that we would have already been told if we were a close contact... I mean I want to trust it, but it's not like I know who touched the copier before me or was in the elevator with me. It's just so stressful...

Mornin' All!
I was going to go to water aerobics this morning - not that I wanted to, but I wanted to do a youtube walking video even LESS. Suffice it to say, I'm not motivated to exercise today, but I need to because a friend is coming over at noon with a take-out lunch of some sort (not sure what because she's going to surprise me), and I made the promised mango cheesecake last night. I calculated the calories in that thing - 598 on even a small-ish slice. So I'll be eating half a small-ish slice. Good Lord - I can't believe the calories. If it were just for my family - esp if I'd made it before - I would have used fake sugar, lower fat cream cheese - and maybe made it crustless. Or just not made it at all. Or maybe put the mango puree into a WW cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie (which actually I did with the leftover mango puree). I'll send her home with some of the cheesecake - and maybe have my family over for dinner on Saturday so we can get rid of that thing.
QOTD: once or twice a year? I usually don't buy things that need ironing because it's such a PITA.
B: protein shake, coffee with half & half
MS: I think an Aldi's version of an Egg McMuffin because I'm hoping the protein and fat will keep me from overeating at lunch
L: tiny piece of mango cheesecake for sure - and some of whatever my friend is bringing over
AS: probably nothing - although if I start getting hungry, some thing with fat and protein that isn't too caloric.
D: leftover Asian-style vegetable stirfry with baked tofu
I haven't taken any pictures lately except a couple of my birthday cake (my b-day is the day before Julia's - so last weekend). This is the real deal, although it's exactly the same cake that I had last year (got it again because I loved it so much!!!). I could have posted the pic from last year that I'd already uploaded to OH and you guys would have never known the difference - BUT....this one truly is of this year's cake!

That cake looks incredible (drool!)! I remember it from last year, because I never forget a good looking cake, lol.

Good morning! It's HOT here. Been averaging mid 90's. I'm not amused by that. My friend continues to inchy squinch forward in her health battles and is now able to wiggle her feet some. Still very sick and has several raging infections through out her body they are trying to understand and knock out. But I'm feeling encouraged and hopeful.
After work today, two of my favorite people and their 1 year old are coming to the campground for a cookout and campfire. SO excited! Then tomorrow we get the girls overnight for biking and playground time. Then I get to rest. Yay for that.
QoTD: Almost never. However, I have an affinity for cloth napkins and placemats and the hubs washes and irons them every time I use them. Makes my heart go pitter patter when I open that drawer and see all those nice, crisps rectangles waiting to have bbq sauce smeared on them.
Menu:
B: 1/2 hamburger patty, 1/4 c cottage cheese
L: 2 oz gyros meat, 1 oz greek chicken breast, 1/3 pita
D: An Old Fashioned! Salted tri tip, smashed potatoes, 1 wheel of corn on the cob, baked feta and for dessert...a glass of wine by the campfire
S: 1/2 turkey Chomps, 3-4 Sonoma Creamery everything crackers
Photos are the before/after of the house project! The after is not a great photo but we love the final paint selections!
I can't wait to do the before and after when the patio is done!
Peace Everyone!

Oh I always iron my napkins and place mates it makes the table look so awesome. I think the only thing I do not iron is underwear. Glad to hear your friend is improving. Hope it all works out.
