Not hiring you would be a mistake that would haunt them. You look amazing and professional. I am so sure you will have this position. Fingers crossed until we hear the news.

Morning everyone, happy Friday the 13th! Let spooky season BEGIN! (it's a thing, yes, I am ready for spooky season)

QOTD - I iron for my husband every now and then, his shirts for work. We work for same org, and I like him to look spiffy. That being said, he's just as likely to iron. But I don't mind, I put on music and just sort of go. It's rare, maybe every couple of months? And then he just has this...ROW of shirts in his closet that keeps him going and going..

Breakfast - fasting so hot black coffee and water

Lunch - I want bao with fried tofu, and a salad. Trying to convince coworker we deserve it!

Dinner - no clue, but we have kids. Something veggie, something fun, something I don't cook....

I hope you all have a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

G'morning all!

JB - you look FINE in your interview outfit and mask. Your masks are always coordinating. I also like your hair. Did you cut it recently? I'm sure you'll receive the good news shortly.

Yesterday DH got notified that one of his co-workers, in his group, has contracted COVID. The guy had the vaccine but I guess was traveling and thinks he got it on the plane. He was running 102 fever but not hospital bound. So right away they sent out rapid tests to everybody and DH's was negative. But he also had to take the other one and we are waiting for that. Keeping fingers crossed, he seems OK and hasn't lost taste or smell. I was laughing because my first thought was I cannot deal with a man cold X10.

QOTD: I use the steamer more than the iron. Last time my mom was here she was appalled I didn't even know where my iron was. I showed her the magic of dryer and the extra cycle of it!

My pics are from last week in Tahoe. The hikes/views were gorgeous. And the notice we got after the first night.

My meals yesterday (egg fast - day 4)

  • B: egg loaf (2 eggs)
  • L: egg salad (3 eggs)
  • S: egg custard (1/2 egg)
  • D: egg salad (3 eggs)
  • E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training.

Happy Fri-yay!

Gorgeous views! How's the egg diet going? I'm impressed with your egg variations!

It's going. Today, thank god, is the last day. Hopefully there will be some loss tomorrow on the scale. I'd be happy even with 1 lb!
I can't take credit for any of the eggs variations, they have tons of them on Pinterest and I chose the easiest ones. The variations made it easier to eat just eggs for 5 days straight!

I am not an egg fan. I can do quiche and scrambled eggs on occasion. That diet would be tough.

Wow great views. Had you seen any bears while you were there? I love seeing bears in the wild. They are just starting to migrate to the suburbs of Pittsburgh so when mating season begins there are sightings. The closest sighting to us was about 5 miles away last year. Maybe we will see one this year. Fingers crossed.

Known COVID contact has been rampant at work and recently a vaccinated staffer tested positive after having been in contact with 10+ others here - the testing and retesting, quarantining is crazy. I fear we may fall back to masks full time at work/public in this county. The county I live in already has the FT mask mandate for all vax'd or not.
