Hey guys...just wanted to ask for some good thoughts for my mom and me. We are having to put our nearly 22 year old kitty to sleep this afternoon.

it's time but it still hurts like hell.

Awww Melody . That's a tough one . Took me three years to get over losing my 26 year old Persian Mini-me .

He actually learned to say Mama ! And everyone constantly commented on it - that cat talks ! Lol

I still miss him

I cry and grieve over losing a cat more than over most people. The cat becomes so much a part of life and is with me everyday. I know how hard this is for you. Even though it is the right thing to do, it is so hard.

QOTD- No nothing, I did buy a new 27" monitor for work. But it isn't really exciting.

I haven't slept well I've been waking at 1AM and not able to get back to sleep. I know it's just stress, yesterday I took a phenergan for my nausea and slept until almost 10AM. I couldn't focus on work so just finished going through my bathroom. I really only have to finish in my office, the kitchen and go through the rest of the garage for donations to Habitat for Humanity- screws, and other misc hardware to donate.

The UBoxes are supposed to be here on the 27th but I don't think they understood I want them here the 27th and to load on Sept 2 they had loading help for the 27th. So I need to call them today.

Still no takers for my horse, I'm feeling at the end of my rope on this. I know it's horrible to say but if I can't find a home for him I will probably have to put him down. So with that horrible thought I was on the phone crying to my Mom last night. She is going to have her yard help spread my previous horses ashes in her yard. I should have spread them a while ago, he's been gone since 2007 which is when I lost my Dad.

I'm not sure how I'm going to do without a scale for 2 months, they are packed away in a box. So I'll have to find somewhere to weight myself.

Thanks everyone for reading all of my self-pitying crap. In the middle of this it just seems difficult, and like I was crazy to make this choice. I know it will get better and I'll survive this, I just wish I could Jeannie it and have it all done in a snap. But I'm short on magical powers so I'm just slogging through it.

Good luck on the interview JB, I'm sure you will nail it. Melody I hope you get some relief soon.

Everyone have a great day!

I wish you were on the East Coast I would gladly take your boy in even if it was for retirement purposes. He would have a blast with my two mares who are just pasture potatoes because I don't have time to ride.
