Hello my dears! I hope you are all doing great! I am hanging in there after a long day yesterday. I am officially at the point where I could work, without a break for 24 hours, 7 days straight and literally not got everything done that I need to do. It's a little overwhelming but I am trying to take the fact that I am not going to meet quite a few deadlines in stride... eeeek.

Meanwhile I am suuuuuuper excited for my 2nd interview on Thursday. My "insider" who knows people on the hiring team says I am one of 2 finalists! YAY!

QOTD: Did you skip any annual appointments during the last 1.5 years? I am so far behind on a bunch of things! I need to reschedule my mammogram, annual, eye exam and dental cleaning!

In a very refreshing turn of events (after eating so much crap on Sunday), I was not hungry at all, yesterday! I didn't have much all day and even through there were cookies and cake I was not even tempted for any of it. I am going to bring in all the cookies to work today and get rid of them! Here is hoping I get another day of relief from hunger :)

hi all

JB that is awesome news, positive vibes for you

We are finally one car down (to two) they came and got it yesterday. now thursday is the day to get the new one and give them mine. hopefully carvana can do this without a snafu since they have bungled up everything else. I made it to the gym yesterday, only walked a mile but its better than nothing. I also sourced some amazing shoes for our business.

QOTD: I'm going for my dental this wednesday, i'm overdue for an ultrasound (have a cyst they are watching), and i think that is it other than the major dental implant process i'm starting. my bridge failed in the back and insurance would not pay for an implant but instead just wanted to replace the bridge which will continue to fail. Maybe an eye appt later in the year for me but not 'overdue'.

Food plan today in no partic order:

last of bbq pork

last of chicken /veggies (lots more veggies to go)

protein ball

coffee x 999999 times

water

maybe a shake with fiber one

I have never heard a good Carvana story! I mean, I suppose that people who are satisfied don't tell their stories, but it seems like they mess things up a lot. I hope yours works out!

Yayyyy for second interviews and new opportunities!!

i am not behind on anything, except finding a doctor i the town i moved to 2 years ago. I went to the ER here the month i moved here and they refused to see me because of my RNY-even thoug it wasn't related....so I'm gun shy.

yesterday I had Many,many coffees

a shake

fajita chicken

a Faux tuna casserole that i made With chicken instead of tuna

we are attending a Church, hubby has some questions about membership and theology, so the pastor invited us for dinner. I don't want to go...for many reason mostly I know I'm food weird. *sigh*

You'll be fine just take the things you know you can eat. Your far enough out to know how to handle a dinner party. If not just put stuff on you plate and move it around wit your fork so it looks like your digging in. That is my usual mode of avoiding questions. Good luck!

I want that cow's view too!

JB, 24 X 7 for weeks is not sustainable; feels like you are being set up for failure so I will think very positive thoughts for you on Thursday. When you resign, don't let me guilt you into more than the normal two weeks, especially since you'll be going right into the new school year!

QOTD - my dentist was impossible to get into so that one did slide around; I did get in last year but it feels like it was an annual vs biannual; Im trying a new dentist this month.

menu today is

coffee plus half and half times 3

Skyr

bulgogi (I made this for the first time from Trader Joes and it's delicious)

cheddar for dinner

I have been so tired, I'm giving myself a light workout week and also going to be bed early. Pilates on Sunday, Wed and then Saturday. Next week I'll get back into the swing of things, I am sure. I'm trying that "listen to your body" thing.

Have a great day!

Is Bulgogi made with short ribs? I think I remember from a Korean restaurant I used to frequent. I hope so cause I liked that and I have a ton of short ribs since I accidently bought a half a cow last week. LOL

I'm sure you could use short ribs. The ones I had weren't but if you make your own sauce you can use any cut you like!
