Mornin' All!

a friend just texted apologizing profusely for having to cancel out on our planned bike ride this morning. Not that it matters - I ride by myself 90% of the time anyway (and will again this morning). Funny that she was so apologetic about canceling. I totally get that things come up, so...

other than a cup of sugar free Jello (with 2 T light Cool Whip on it) late yesterday afternoon (for no other reason other than I wanted something sweet), I stuck to my plan perfectly! I think this idea of flip-flopping "eating events" (as my dietitian calls them) and playing around with the timing in an attempt to deal with the late afternoon graze fest might actually work. YAY! So we'll do it again today. I was down 2 lbs (over last week) this morning (my official weigh-in is on Wednesdays), but it's too soon for my efforts to show up on the scale - so it's probably due to other things, like water levels. But still - I was happy!!

QOTD: I don'****ch TV - but when I was a kid in the 60s and early 70s, I never missed the Saturday night line-up (All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Mary Tyler Moore, and Bob Newhart). Of course, they could never produce anything like "All in the Family" now - but maybe they could the others (esp the last two).

B: protein shake/smoothie (I'll blend it with kale, frozen strawberries, and ice). Coffee with half & half

MS: Plain Greek yogurt with some kind of fruit compote

L: chickpea/miso spread (I learned this is what some call "vegan tuna salad") on 35-calorie bread with cucumber and tomato slices. Maybe 1/2 C coleslaw with Asian dressing if I'm still hungry

AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries, English muffin with light cream cheese

D: zucchini/cauliflower/chickpea curry - and maybe a couple of tablespoons of some old kidney bean curry, too - on a roti

ex: biking. I really need to get back to doing weights, too. Maybe I'll do the latter late this afternoon, when I'm in my danger zone (for grazing)

have a good day, everyone!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Cheering for you JB. Hopefully with in the next few days you'll be medically cleared and also have a new job. Tons of prayers being said for you.

Yesterday was a much better day. After my hair appointment I went for a run to see if I was any better and I had no pain. Yeah, so I got up and did it again this morning. The anxiety is much lower today and I am feeling good. I guess a three day rest was all I needed.

I am trying to put an outfit together for a show I am going to Friday at the casino. We have had tickets for over 2 years and it is finally happening. It is a Johnny Cash cover band so I am looking for something Black and Sexy. It is going to be too hot for leather I originally had planned so I have to scour my closet for options.

QOTD: I love the Big bang Theory But the older ones like Night Court and Cheers were up there in their day.

Accountability: I kept myself busy and left little time for snacking but I did grill a Hallloumi Cheese and ate it as my side instead of veggies.

TSS: 3 years 7 Months 24 days:136 (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with SF CM Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Premier Caramel Protein shake, and berries,

CB: Coffee with SF CM Chocolate Caramel creamer

L. Chicken Fajita inners and Deli turkey and Colby roll ups.

D: Zucchini Lasagna

Exercise: 3.1 miles done .

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. sublingual B12 3x a week

Everybody Have a great day.

Brightest Blessings.

Good morning~ Sending you tons of good mojo and and juju, JB!! I had a stressful day yesterday also and I shut down. By the end of the day I didn't know my own name. I hope your day/week gets better (and mine too)! I have a lot to catch up on and what seems like dozens of new projects (thanks to my promotion) to learn and take over. It's A LOT, but I asked for it so I will do what I have to do. Soon enough it will flow like a well oiled machine and in the meantime, wine after work is welcome and wonderful!

Still need to read from last week and this week - I will get to it, maybe tonight.

QOTD - My favorite is Frasier - has been for a long time now - it still gets me every time. I also love I love Lucy, The Office, Seinfeld, King of Queens and Everybody loves Raymond.

Yesterday was my first time trying the costco egg bites and I am in love - they are so good!

I used to do the egg bites they are great but I switch it up for a Jimmy Dean Eggwich every so often if you get a chance try them. There are 3 different flavors I grab the one with the least calories

Hi Everyone

mit sounds like a stressful time for both JB and Mel. Sending positive thoughts your way. Due to school homework I hadn't worked out in 4 days. I could tell during my walk that it had been a few days. I haven't been very good about increasing my calories like my Bariatric provider suggested. I am a little calorie phobic afraid that increasing my calories will create a weight stall. I need to work through this issue.

QOTD: I think the Office is pretty darn funny.

B: oikios triple zero Gree****d coffee with sf vanilla syrup, sf chocolate sauce

L: keto lasagna in a bowl

D: 1/2c Turkish chicken breast, 4 cherry tomatos

S Quest protein chips, frozen chocolate Greek yogurt

As long as your hitting your protein and water goals don't worry about the calories. You have not reached goal yet you will not be malnutritioned. Your body will use your stored up fat. I am not a nutritionist but also your nutritionist is probably not a WLS patient. Just saying.
