Good morning. Still hot and humid over here. 97 most of the day. Don't tell me that Climate Change is not a real thing. Yesterday was uneventful, and I got several things done around the house. I did make a ****tail for the hubs and I yesterday evening. But other than that, I was on track. Today is looking to be like a busy one at work and then a facial after work. The mudding starts on the stucco work today, and that is supposed to create an enormous mess. My property is currently masked up with several layers on all the surrounding ground around the house. I'm a bit scared! It's been a challenge with the dogs. They hope to be cleaning up by end of the day tomorrow. Then it's just touching up the trim work and redoing a bit of prep work that isn't up to the level we expected. Maybe a before after photo can be done for Friday. But if not, next Friday for sure.

QoTD: I get very, very ditzy. Which is entertaining because I already come across in person as ditzy half the time. My son in law says I have a very unique skill set. I come across as ditzy, but don't be fooled.

Menu: I'm up a couple pounds, so I've prepped for the whole week.

B: hb egg, 1/4 c cottage cheese

L: chicken leg meat, broccolini, tomatoes roasted with feta

D: chicken jalapeno sausage, 1/4 c refried beans, 1 oz cheddar cheese

S: instead of beef jerky I have to finish the smoked turkey, so that will be my afternoon snack most days this week. I don't love it, it's too salty, but it's a good protein for me, so I am finishing it...dammit.

55 emails are waiting for me to start plowing through, so I'm off! Peace Everyone!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Sorry you did not sleep well last night but I don't think I would be able to either. This ultra sound can't come soon enough.

For me I got up and had my x-ray this morning. Just waiting to hear the results. If there is no bone thing going on I think were going to treat it for tendentious. I can not believe I have done no exercise since last Friday. I want to get to the gym on the elliptical but I had an appointment last night with lawyer to sign our updated will. It was 15 years old so it was time. Tonight I have a hair appointment and tomorrow I have a Church Group meeting. I am thinking since I still can walk I am going to get up and walk at least part of my route tomorrow morning. I'll be doing a little bit of moving and hopefully it will help with the anxiety. I think the anxiety is what is sabotaging my eating.

QOTD: I just power through physical Exhaustion if I still have thing on my to do list for the day. Sometime it give me a second wind. Mental exhaustion I usually stop and pray.

Accountability: Has not been good. I don't really remember what it was I ate off plan last night just know it was too much of everything.

G'morning all!

QOTD: it depends on the reason of exhaustion. If it's lack of sleep I'm totally grumpy. I have no idea how some of you insomniacs survive every day. If my exhaustion is mental I do the laugh for no reason ending in cry routine. And if my exhaustion is physical I just space out.

My meals yesterday (ADF)

  • B: fast
  • L: premier protein + coffee
  • S: 1/4 cup mixed nuts
  • D: tuna pouch + 1 hb egg
  • E: 5.5 miles jog

Happy taco tue!

Good morning all~ I had a glorious 10 days off and while it was busy and exhausting it was wonderful. The move was smooth and our new place is the best - a huge yard for all of our babies. I didn't expect to not be on here though, but I'm back at it today. Food was half good, half gluttonous - no regrets, it was a fantastic ending to a very stressful few months. I have a bit of reading to do to catch up on what has been going on OH. I have a few meetings and million emails so the day should fly.

QOTD - When I am super exhausted, I sorta shut down and cannot compute.... Along the lines of 'duh-stoned' I would say.

Good morning, everybody!

Marilyn is home this afternoon. It's good because I've missed her.

Yesterday's Hello Fresh was a bridge too far for my cooking skills. There were several pots and side bowls and the fire alarms went off while I was sautéing the onions, I wasn't sure which one went off, so I dissassembled two of them before I found the one that was screaming. The meat came out underdone and the potatoes were kind of al dente (at least the larger ones were). My youngest ate it and said it was good, but he may have just felt guilty for not helping.

Only four more work days until our trip to Alaska. We haven't started packing yesterday, but we are starting to think about it.

Since I hit one of my fitness goals for the new year, I got my new sneakers. The original plan was to get these Artists For Humanity designed sneakers:

Unfortunately, they sold out of my size, so I got these instead:

I like them, but not as much as I would have liked the first ones.

QOTD: I lay down on the couch, turn on the TV and nap. What I will do when we ultimately return to the office, who knows?

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: Lamb

Dinner: Marilyn gets home at 4

Have a great day, all!

Those first sneakers are amazing. Hope you can get them if they ever become available again.

If you Google Artists For Humanity, they are a non-profit that helps teens find employment in art and design. They are out of Boston.

I signed up for the waiting list, but I don't know if they will do another run or if it was one time only.
