Good morning, everybody!

Early call today, so I'm awake more or less. Can't guarantee that situation is going to hold.

It sounds like the pressure to start going into the office is going to ramp up over them next few weeks. I don't plan on doing anything until I get back from Alaska, but then I think that I will have to start making an occasional appearance. Not looking forward to the commute.

We are going to an outdoor concert tonight. Its a cover band and we will have a picnic dinner. Sounds fun.

QOTD: My favorite was always the huge shells stuffed with cheese. Don't know if those meet any of the criteria being considered, but I liked them . lasagna too.

Breakfast: Protein Bar

Lunch: fish

Dinner: Picnic

Have a great day, all!

I am enjoying the office more than I thought I would but the commute really is a killer.

My office is in a pretty rough area of Roxbury, in what is a mostly residential area. We are the only business in the area with commuters, so there hasn't ever been much to choose from. The two places attached to the building opened back up when our offices reopened, and the 50 Dunkins in the are never closed, because... Dunkin in MA never sleeps. So good enough, but I doubt it is analogous to where you work.

Mornin' Everyone!

nothing on the agenda today, so I'm going to finish watching the movie for one of my film discussion groups ("the Rape of Europa"), and work on stuff for my classes. I may also look for some more Indian recipes. A friend of mine's husband is going out-of-town for a week in August. and I told her maybe I could have her over one night for Indian food while he's gone. Trust me, she has NOT forgotten. Even though I brought this up about three weeks ago, she reminded me about it yesterday.

QOTD: I almost never do pasta anymore - and I don't have a favorite shape, but I usually buy (or bought) either linguine or penne, depending on what I was making (different shapes work better with different dishes).

B: plain skyr with blueberry/blackberry sauce, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: chickpea spread on 35-calorie bread with cucumber and tomato slices. Maybe coleslaw made with Asian-style dressing.

AS: L&F with raspberries ?

D: red lentil dal on a roti

have a great day, everyone!

I would not forget either, if I were invited for Indian food.

I can't imagine working in HR. I saw enough craziness as a manager. I was once accused of stalking a woman and following her into the bathroom. She had a long history of such accusations against managers and co-workers. I assured HR that I was not stalking her but that it was entirely possible that I was in the bathroom at the same time (since we worked on the same floor). The HR representative almost seemed embarrassed to have to ask me about it.

Mike and I had a great beach day at his part of the Cape yesterday. Today my 9 month old great-nephew is visiting his grandmother, my other SIL and me with his Mom and other grandmother. A day of cuteness!

QOTD: I like Fettucine or Papperdelle best. Obviously I like the pasta part and don't care about this guys criteria much. But I do like LOTS of sauce on it!

TSS: 5 years, 4 months

B: Coffee!!! Scrambled eggs and cottage cheese

L: chicken and cottage cheese

D: Salmon and salad

S: string cheese

Good morning! Still too warm and sticky over here. JB -- seriously, can you just start an anonymous blog and give us some dirt? I feel like my little company makes me crazy and your enormous staff could add some entertainment value to my day. People are sometimes very, very odd. I've got nothing on the books today except work, and a quick packing tonight. We are staying beach side with some friends in Oceanside tomorrow and Saturday and getting in a bike ride. The ride will be to bars, but I don't drink and bike, so I'll indulge in nice cold ice water. But that's not til Saturday.

Fun side note, my new used car has automatic parallel parking. So far, everyone that has tried has chickened out and slammed on the brakes. It just slams into the spot. Very scary, and yet, a bit exhilarating!

QoTD: Bucatini. Love that they are straws and when you are sucking it in sort of Lady and the Tramp style, it's saucy inside and out. Not that I've had any in for a few years though. I've had a tiny bit of pasta post surgery, but it's been like 1/4 cup angel hair pasta.

Menu:

B: cottage cheese and rotisserie chicken breast

L: chicken thigh with roasted broccolini and tomatoes

D: chicken jalapeno sausage with refried beans, cheddar cheese and a small bit of elote

Peace Everyone!

If I end up with an anonymous twitter account I will def invite you!

So funnily enough bucatini was the butt of all of the pasta jokes in this very funny podcast. I like it, too, but it was a hard NO from the panel.
