What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

G'morning all!

QOTD: I used to make Harry Potter sweaters for sale on Etsy. You know the one Mrs Weasley made for Ron with his initial? October-Xmas time was always super busy. Some years I made upwards of 20 sweaters, considering it took me about 20 hours for each sweater. 2020 I didn't make any because I wasn't able to find the yarn. We'll see this year. It was totally a labor of love because DH calculated after the cost of yarn and the mail I was making something like $4 an hr! The problem with handmade stuff is people are used to Chinese/Walmart prices and balk at paying what these stuff are worth. I'd rather make stuff for family and friends than put them on Etsy and be disappointed because people can't believe how much they cost. Here is a collage of some of the sweaters.

My pic is of my baby Luna and her very fashionable tshirt. Isn't she the cutest? We now call her Pepé Le Pew.

My meals yesterday

• B: fast
• L: scrambled eggs + cauliflower thins
• S: fage yogurt+blueberries
• D: saffron chicken breast + cauliflower rice
• E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training

Luna is adorable and about the sweater (SOLD) I do not care the cost I'll Zelle or Paypal you and pay for shipping. I want it in of course orange and white. Just let me know. I wear a small but maybe medium if it looks better a little big.

BTW, usually people choose the colors of the Hogwarts houses (4 of them). Otherwise this would be just an orange sweater with your initial on it...which is fine, but just wanted you to know.

I've only seen one potter movie so oblivious. But Orange please.

1) I love how nicely Luna is posing for you and 2) people really undervalue handicrafts and they need to get over that. I so love the handmade vs Walmart. When my friend had her bakery, she ran into the same thing, people wanted handmade, individual design at Costco prices.

Yup, that's the travesty.
I had a client who was ordering 5 sweaters for the whole family and he asked for a discount. Had to write him in detail what it takes to make each sweater; custom made, his colors, his initial(s), his exact measurement (s) X5, and asked him where do you think I can cut down except for mailing? I can't buy things in bulk, because clients ask for different colors, and I can't premake them because it's made to order with their specific choices. As you said I'm no Costco or Walmart, I'm making these sweaters one at a time.
