Good morning, everybody!

Did you watch the All Star game, JB? I completely forgot about it.

JB and Hilary, sorry to hear that you are both sick. My older son has been battling something as well. He stayed home Friday, but has been back to work this week.

I kind of got back into the swing of work yesterday after my slow start Monday. Today I have a few calls and have to finish reviewing something as well, so I should have another busy day.

QOTD: Three times. Once for exposure, once for a procedure and the third time when I had Bactremia from the tooth thing. All three were negative.

Breakfast: Sausage and cottage cheese

Lunch: Steak

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

Good morning! Home from vacation and back at my desk. 12 hour travel day with a 9 and a 7 year old and got into bed at midnight local time. Up at 5. I see naps in my future! I did not gain weight on this trip. Lost some. Hate saying that because I know how some struggle. I seem to be so militant on food when we travel that I end up not hitting any of my protein or calorie goals. I'm not so sure that's any healthier. Especially with how much wine I drank. I hate to think of how many calories I dedicated to that and not good food choices. Back in the saddle today.

QoTD: Twice. Once for symptoms, once because I went to Mexico and my work wouldn't let me return until I had a negative test. Both times were negative.

Menu -- winging it a bit until we can get a grocery list put together and shopping done.

B: 1/4 cottage cheese and meat sauce. Weird I know, but I love it. (Better with a meat ball though!)

L: So I think it's a chicken and white been di****'s a prepack from my freezer I put together. I know it will be the right serving size, just not sure yet what it actually is. I'll know when it finishes thawing out.

D: either a taco and 1/4 refried beans, or El Pollo Loco chicken breast and salad. One is 3 blocks further to drive and it will depend on how damn tired I am when I get near home.

Peace Everyone!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Did you ever think you would see the day when you were glad you have a cold? I am just so happy that is is nothing worse and hope you are on your way to better JB.

Looks like today will be a good day and so happy it is Hump Day. I have a manicure planned for this afternoon. I am very excited about the family picnic on Sunday it will be so good to see the family. This picnic has been held the 3rd Sunday in July for over 100 years so I am glad to keep the tradition alive. I was able to plan out my menu so shopping and preparing are the only things left to do. I am big on time management so that I do not get overwhelmed at the last minute. Hopefully my execution plan will work perfectly.

QOTD: 0

Accountability: I snacked on Coconut cookies and 20cal popsicles.

TSS: 3 years 7 Months 3 days:134.2 (Lowest 129.4)

B: Coffee with SF CM Chocolate Caramel creamer

Mornin' All!

it's beautiful outside this morning, but they're calling for thunderstorms, hail, and possibly tornadoes later on this afternoon. Ugh. That would probably explain the headache I woke up with this morning. That's fine - I'm behind on classes, so I really need to stay in regardless and get cracking on this. As usual, not much else going on in my world....

QOTD: two. I had one before my colonscopy last summer, and one before my facelift surgery a couple of weeks ago. Both negative.

B: I haven't eaten yet (it's almost 9:30) and I'm not hungry, so I think I'll just have my protein shake and push the rest of my meals back by an hour or two. I did that yesterday, and it helped me stay within my calorie range. So....a protein shake. I'll blend it with ice and a big handful of spinach or kale. Coffee with half & half (already had that)

MS: Plain skyr with strawberry/rhubarb compote

L: chickpea/miso spread on 35-calorie bread (from Aldi's) with cucumber and tomato slices

AS: 1/2 a protein muffin, L&F yogurt with raspberries

D: I'm thinking half a plant-based "burger" (on 1/2 a slim bun with light Thousand Island, lettuce & tomato) with either corn on the cob or coleslaw made with Asian-style dressing

have a great day, everyone!

Good morning ~ Glad to hear that it's only a cold and not worse - take care of yourself, JB! Another busy day full of meetings, but also a Pizza party so I'm looking very forward to that. Please pray for me that no pizza crust crosses my lips today - just toppings! The meme has me drooling already. Looking forward to work settling down and our move to be over soon. We are planning a trip for a Dodger game and another for Disneyland - can't wait!

QOTD - Just one, when I was possibly exposed but it was negative.

Food is going really well lately I'm almost to onederland!

G'morning all!

That menu prep looks so good. If you think about it one slice a pizza a day is fine as long as you can stick to one slice. I can't! So happy to hear you don't have COVID, JB. Summer colds are the worst.

QOTD: so far two tests. One right at the beginning of the pandemic because DS has asthma and I had a bad cold, we wanted to make sure I don't have it and bring it to the family. The second one was for a visit to the Dr for an outpatient procedure. I gotta do it again before I go home in Sept and I'm already stressing, because they are sticklers with 72 hours and if I get the results too early or too late I'll be in deep kimchi.

My meals yesterday

  • B: fast
  • L: 2 scrambled eggs & shredded cheese
  • S: Quest chocolate brownie bar
  • D: taco Tuesday, used cauliflower thins as taco shells (2)
  • E: 30 minutes cardio + 50 minutes weight training

Happy hump day!
