Morning everyone! Let's start with the good news--I do not have COVID! And I do not have Strep. Yay! But the docs says there is a really nasty common cold floating around and my symptoms match it exactly. It starts with a wicked sore throat and fatigue, and devolves into 10 days of terrible congestion and coughing. Yuck.

I ended up taking all of yesterday off and barely even worked from home because I needed to take a few naps. I called in sick again today but I really need to get a lot of work done, so I hope I am a little better today and can work from here.

QOTD: How many COVID tests have you taken? I only took 2 this entire time. We never needed to travel, so the only times I took tests were because I had symptoms...once in October 2020 (when I randomly got a cold even though I hadn't left the house in months), and yesterday.

Yesterday I thought I would be on liquids because of my throat but swallowing liquids seemed to hurt as much, if not more, than swallowing food. I ended up having an egg bite, a beef stick, and a turkey burger yesterday. No food plans for today, except that I have a ton of Buffalo Cauliflower in the fridge and I should really make an attempt at eating that before it goes bad.

Good morning JB and I sure hope that nasty cold doesn't last 10 days for you! Yucky.

My mom's car has to get its oil changed and get the brakes checked out...oh and state inspection. Lots of fun at the dealership...LOL

The cold sounds NASTY, but definitely good news on what it isn't!

The gray, gloomy, depressing weather on Cape Cod continues today, but it was almost nice out in Newport RI yesterday. No drizzle and almost peaks of sun at times. We had a great walk and lunch on the wharves and a beautiful drive along the ocean and mansions. Mike had never been there and was blown away by the drive.

QOTD: Four: 1 when I had Covid and 3 for travel purposes.

TSS: 5 years, 3 months

B: Coffee!!! eggs and cottage cheese

L: tuna fish

D: dinner out with Mike's sisters
