Good morning, everybody!
I didn't do much on my first day of back to work yesterday. Pretty much talked to my boss on the phone and spent the rest of the day running errands with Marilyn.
Has anybody tried the Costco brand Miralax substitute? It a lot cheaper - $22 for 100 doses vs. $33 for 68 doses. But if it doesn't work the same, saving $11 is not worth walking around all day long feeling like I have a cinder block inside my abdomen.
They are back to giving out samples at our Costco. Scored a piece of sausage and some Chicken Tiki Masala. They also had tons of Red Bordeaux in the wine section, but I didn't get any.
QOTD: ASICS for running and regular Crossfit Workouts. Reebok Legacy Lifters for Olympic weightlifting and squatting. I want to get these loud NO BULL shoes, but I am waiting until I accomplish one of my goals before I order them.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: Sausage and cottage cheese
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

I haven't done the Costco brand of generic, but I've done the CVS and Walgreens brands. I think they all work pretty much the same. If you get the Walgreens one online, it's like $11.49 for the 26 oz size (so cheaper than in the store), and about once a month they run a sale - buy one, get 2nd for half price. So I wait for those sales and buy four bottles - turns out to be about $9 a bottle for that 26 oz size. But again, it's only online (I go pick it up - they also have delivery, but I think you have to order a minimum amount to get free delivery)

I'm hesitant to buy generic Miralax anywhere for the same reason!!!
Very cool kicks!!!

JB probably knows more about this than me, but they are designed by Artists For Humanity, which is a Boston based nonprofit that provides teenagers paid employment in arts and design.

Mornin' All!
one of my Mah Jongg partners and I are going to one of the senior centers this afternoon to play. It's only the second time we've played in person since the pandemic began -- looking forward to it! Otherwise, nothing special on the agenda today.
QOTD: my walking shoes are Saucony, and my aerobic (e.g., Zumba) shoes are Ryka. I like them both!
It's almost 10:00 a.m. and I'm not interested in food AT ALL at the moment - I hope this lasts! Maybe I'll just have a little yogurt or a protein shake this morning:
B: Greek yogurt or a protein shake
L: chickpea/miso sandwich (with Aldi's 35-calorie bread and tomato & cucumber slices)
AS: I'll be at Mah Jongg - should probably take a protein bar with me so I don't gorge when I get home
D: Madras Lentils on a roti
have a great day, everyone!

Good morning~ I hope you feel better, JB. Popsicles always numb and sooth my sore throat. Rest up!
Yesterday flew by as will today and the rest of the week - so much going on - all good stuff though. Busy, busy, busy but SO productive and satisfying.
QOTD - I used to be die-hard Nike, but not since they changed my favorite shoe the last few years - I gave up. I've been trying other brands and I haven't landed on anything I'm in love with yet. I've tried so many New Balance, Brooks and Adidas most recently. I'm struggling with the stability vs comfort. I will keep trying new ones until I find the one again. Which Brooks do you wear, JB? I think I had Ghost 12.
Eats for today look a lot like yesterday! I am hoping to get under 200 at least by the end of the month, I'm so close! Feeling better everyday.
