QOTD-Asics for walking and I'm stuck on Merrells for everyday.
I had to take my cat Sammy in for his second rabies shot on Saturday. They wanted me to give him gabapentin before I brought him in so he would be more pliable. He was like a drunken sailor for the rest of the day. I felt so bad for him, it took most of the night to wear off. He slept through most of it, but I definitely won't give him as much next time. I hate that I can't come back with him, I meet them in the lobby they take him back and call me when he's ready to go. I think it's easier with me being with him, I can calm him and he is better with me there.
No offers on the house, except the one low ball one which I rejected. It was pretty slow only one showing on Sunday and one yesterday. I'm so tired of this. Second guessing myself and wondering if I made a bad choice.
I may have a really good home for my horse, she is going to talk to her farrier and let me know. I dreamed about him this morning, I think because it will be so hard to let him go.
The VPN is down so I can't do any work, I have 2 projects that I need to get out but there's nothing I can do without access.
Have a great day everyone!
Julia hope you feel better soon!

G'morning menu family!
JB- sorry you are feeling sick. I think with every one masked up for 18 months our immune system is not as strong as it was. And having to work in close proximity it's like the first week of school; tons of germs are being exchanged. Good thing you are staying home and taking care of yourself.
QOTD: not so much brand loyal but what I need to get the job done. Sneaker wise because of plantar fasciitis I was recommended Asics. I use them for running but I get bored with them. Every time I need to change sneakers due to mileage I hope I can get something else but always land back on Asics. For non running workout days I prefer Nike. And for just running errands superga and recently Veja. So I guess I'm not loyal.
My meals yesterday (ADF)
- B: fast
- L: coffee + premier protein
- S: coffee + premier protein

- Total : 530

Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Hoping today settles down I think I am all caught up from my time off so I should be good. I am getting my menu together to cook for our family picnic this weekend. My brother usually pitches in but due to the fact he had to change jobs because his went away during the pandemic and he is no longer a 9-5er I have to do all the cooking myself. Not that I do not love to do it but just sad he won't be able to attend.
I was very busy yesterday and after I ate my lunch I was still hungry. There was a quest Hero protein bar in my bag that I ate it only had 1g sugar so I thought nothing of eating it but sure enough 1/2 how later I had RH. It took a Resse's Mini to get my act together.
QOTD: JB I was a tried and true Brooks fan but I am now a HOKA girl. Next time your looking for a shoe you'll need to try them both on and tell me what you think. It has been a game changer for me. If it is wet I'll put on a pair of old Brooks not to ruin my Hoka's. There is no comparison. They are truly like walking and running on air. For every day shoes I like a good Born or Pikolinos.
Accountability: I plowed though a bag of Kettle corn right before bed. Should have just went to bed.

I am getting tired of the gloom and drizzle we have had for almost 2 weeks now. It is hard to get enthusiastic about going anywhere but we may drive to Newport RI this afternoon.Mike has never been there though he grew up south of Boston. I used to go a lot as I had family members from there.
