DH loves repairing things for people just wish you were closer. Last week found a weed eater on the side of the road and all it needed was the carbonator cleaned. It is a shame what people put in the trash.

Fixing the Carburetor on my pressure washer is also on my list for this vacation week, so I may have questions!! If it wasn't so hot and mosquito filled out, we may have made more progress

G'morning all!

WE ARE GOING TO THE FINALS! Italy won against Spain and we are going to the UEFA finals. It was a nail biter game, 1-1 by the end of official time and the over time. It came down to penalty kicks; I hate penalty kicks, I felt like I was the goalie defending my country. We won 4-2. Last time Italy won the Euro Cup was in 1968, although we've been in the finals plenty of times. On July 11 we'll play against England or Denmark.

QOTD: don't have any. Never watched them. Nowadays I catch the funny moments of family feud on YouTube and watch them, otherwise not much of a game show person.

July 11 at noon (PDT). We are playing against England. No bueno. They play dirty.

Sheila! You got me some street cred with my European colleagues! I had paid attention to see who won between Denmark and England so I would know who we were playing in the finals....so this morning when they apologized for diving into the football talk, I could participate. There was shock on all the faces when I even knew what time the game would be.

For the record, all the people in Germany, except the English guy, were planning on rooting for Italy (and he was going to his local Italian restaurant to watch the game and root for England)....the English lady who now lives in Texas moved there from Italy so was rooting for Italy and the one guy that is in England said "oh yeah, the football" so go Italy.

So cool. I'm happy you could flex some football muscle.
I got invited by a British family to watch the game with them! As if! At first I declined politely. They kept insisting saying don't worry we'll be fun. Finally I had to tell them I'm not worried about them I'm worried about MY reaction, so it's better for us to stay on our separate turfs.
