What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good Morning! It's mid-week already! The week is flying by as I'm trying to learn the last few things I need to before my coworker leaves. I believe a job offer has been made for her replacement but of course it'll be a few weeks before she starts and then training. In the end it'll all be better but bare with me the next few months-lol.

Good morning! That is so strange that Boston keeps changing its mind about your work arrangements. Must be the push and pull from differing factions.
Sorry I missed posting the last couple of days. Monday I went to a BBQ with family and yesterday we went to Mike's place where his daughters, grandchildren, one husband and several friends are staying for the week. It was a beautiful beach day followed by the consumption of several appetizers and a lot of lobster. No weight loss this week! We have enough lobster meat left for 3 good sized lobster rolls. Lobster eating is a tradition here on Cape Cod in the summer.
QOTD: Wheel of Fortune is my recent favorite. I never really watched game shows in the past, but we have been watching that and Jeopardy following the news. I can often guess the phrases on it but am terrible at Jeopardy, hence the preference LOL.

Good morning JB and Menuers,
That is crazy your work is changing there mind all the time. Also surprised your wearing a mask still. We have not been required to wear masks in a at least 4 weeks. I have not felt uncomfortable not wearing it. However I thought I heard a report that someone fully Vaccinated caught the variant and is in the hospital so maybe I should be so careful.
I also want to thank you all for your well wishes on my win. I still am in shock that I got a medal on my first official race. I run those hills and Most days I am running around a 10:32 so when I hit the Mile mark and my run tracker said 8:30 I actually tapped the airpods thinking there was an issue. This is the first time I think I ever one anything for my athletic ability. And I thought crossing my legs again was a big deal. Gotta love the NSV.
QOTD: Oh I thought you would never ask. I am a huge Price Is right Fan. My best friend lives in Long Beach and I have actually been to 2 tapings but never got on stage. They were both when Bob Barker hosted. I also use the theme song as my ring tone. If there are interviews to get on stage here in Pittsburgh I always go. I have even gone to the Price is Right Stage show in Vegas.
Accountability: Not great but getting better. The Keto crackers and Keto cookies have me stumbling. I have Bible study tonight so I will not have time for snacks.

I read about vaccines and the Delta variant yesterday. They said you'll still get a lot of protection, but not as much as with previous variants. I think it was 72% (???). BUT....if you do get it, it's still likely to be a mild case. As of now, CDC is still not recommending masks for vaccinated people, but of course that could change...
