their cost of living is way up there - probably right after Honolulu, San Francisco, and New York..

I live in NC. I been searching for someone in my area. My sister is paying 8,000 for her tummy tuck. I sent my surgeon a email requesting a referral. I know it will be a hassle getting back if I go to far. I want a bbl as well. I'm trying to get it all done at once.

Joseph Hunstad in the Charlotte area used to be a well-known name for doing body contouring for massive weight loss patients. Several top notch plastic surgeons did their residencies under him. I don't hear his name much anymore, though - maybe because so many plastic surgeons are now doing it.

oh wait - I just went back through your postings - you said you're in the Raleigh/Durham area. Not familiar with any names there (I lived in Raleigh about 40 years ago, btw)

It's been 9 years since Dr. Detlev Erdmann at Duke Aesthetic Center did my surgeries. Insurance would only pay for plastic surgery if you were having skin infections from the loose skin. On their website it looks like they are accepting some Insurance Companies and they now offer Financial Assistance. That was not available in 2012. In 2012 had a Tummy Tuck $6157.00, Breast Lift $5322.00 & Buttock Lift $4780.00. They required a $500.00 Deposit. My Primary Care doctor gave me a referral for a different Plastic Surgeon after the fact. It had already scheduled the surgeries and paid a deposit.

Thank you! I'm going to do all I can to try and get it done. I had the panni through insurance. I'm wondering, if I don't need the tummy tuck, would the cost go down, or I can do breast in place of it.

Only your surgeon can answer those questions for you. All are different in what they charge and how the insurance will help.

Have you heard of Care Credit plastic surgery financing? I went to Duke Aesthetic Center

Do you live in NC? I got my surgery through Duke. My PMP is with Duke. I heard of it, but I never tried it. I was scared I would get turned down. I'm going to look up the place you went to now. Thank you!
