What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Good Morning! Its FriYAYYYYYYYY! No photo for me because I just checked my camera roll and I have 100000 pics of cats and the craft room, but that's it, lol. Maybe next week when I go back to work I will start taking pics of other things again!
Today is my last WFH day, ever. I am really sad :( I wish we could ease back in a few days a week, but the City of Boston is being completely inflexible and they are refusing to ever let anyone be remote again. Even if you have to quarantine, or have symptoms, you have to use sick time, now and will not be allowed to work from home. I think its BS, frankly, and I think a lot of people are going to quit. I don't think I will be one of them, but it's certainly tempting to look for a job that is more flexible.
QOTD: Do you have special plans for the 4th Of July? We don't have anything! We planned to get together with our fav neighbors for our annual summer steak and lobster feast, but the weather this weekend is going to be terrible, rainy and cold. I am just going to stay in and use that pretty craft room :)
Yesterday was another stupid day in my pouch that started strong and then turned to a fail by mid-day. I wish I knew how to stop myself from skipping lunch and then doing "whatever" for dinner. Any suggestions? I am thinking about skipping the morning snack and trying to make myself very hungry? Results TBD.

Good mornin JB and all the menu crew.
We have a lot planned for the day. I have to go get an X-ray on my left hip to check for arthritis. It's been popping and grinding for a long time now...I think it's contributing to the pain...we'll see though. With the long weekend coming up I don't know when I'll get the results. We are having my brother and his family over on the 4th. I'm not sure what my mom has decided to fix. I want to do oven "fried" chicken. I might just do that so I can freeze some. I found a recipe that uses unsweetened coconut which I happen to have. So we have to run to the grocery store or Sam's or both.
we are having flooding and we're currently under flash flood warnings. It's been raining since before midnight. Heavy rain.
qotd: I doubt we'll see fireworks due to rain chances. I don't care for em anyway. So we'll just be having lunch with the family.
Food is unplanned and I need to make a serious plan for the upcoming week.
My pics are of my cat's new album cover, a mural that was on a building here a few years ago.

Turns out I have osteoarthritis in my left hip. I haven't heard from the doctor yet but read the report already.
Yay.

Good morning, everybody!
I'm up early because I have a flight, as noted in QOTD, supra.
The tennis ladies came over last night. Sometimes, I avoid the tennis gatherings because there is so much talk about, well, tennis. But we had Chateau Montelena Chardonnay, and, after watching Bottle Shock last weekend, I was in.
There was actually very little talk about tennis. Much of the evening's discussion centered around the Sheepy. Pronounced "She Pee." I guess this is a device which allows women to pee standing up. They say it is a game changer for camping trips.
Frankly, I'm not sure I want this device on my internet search history this morning, so I'm going to take them at their word on it. Supposedly it comes in a variety of colors (why?) They seemed to think that glow in the dark would be the best color because it would be readily available for nighttime trips. After some discussion, it was resolved that they did not make a bedazzled version.
Pictures are of my son's new truck. I'm greatly relieved to be done test driving. We went up to Trish's town to get it. No time for a visit though. They had a new Bronco at the dealer and its really nice. The ones that you see on the street so far are Bronco Sports, but this was the full size. Marilyn also entered a raffle to win an 800 HP Shelby Mustang. Since she already makes the drive from Chicago to Denver in one day, i don't know how much faster she could actually go.
Fun workout for Sheila:
Last-Chance Qualifier Event 3
For time:
100 burpees
For each rep, jump and touch a target 12 inches above your reach.
Post time to comments.
QOTD: State 50, here I come. Leaving for Bismarck, ND this morning and we will hike in Theodore Roosevelt National Park this weekend. Home on Sunday, and I have next week off (for the most part). Mostly jobs around the house once we get back.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: TBD
Dinner: Steak
Have a great day and long weekend, all!

Hah, no thanks. Even the part of jumping up I was doing the puny version.
Nice car.

The normal standard is a playing cards width and I struggle with that some days. I've done 6 inch jumps but never 12. That would require a concerted effort on each jump for me.

I love Bottle Shock, how was the wine????
If it doesn't glow in that dark and come bedazzled I will boycott the Sheepy.

It was good. 2018 vs. the 1973 championship wine. Marilyn doesn't like Oaked Chardonnay and said the likes the Montelena, but not as much as her Spring Mountain ð?". Totally serious, we had like an hour of Sheepy talk.
