DH is soo against food sharing. So last week we took a new friend from church out to dinner. She is a older than me. Thought she would feel like a third wheel but was very comfy so that was nice. She then proceeded to ask Ron for a couple of his Tater tots. I held my breath. He obliged willingly I was shocked!!!! So glad she felt comfortable enough to ask.

Morning everyone! I head to the airport in a bit and hoping I won't have email or internet access again until Monday!

QOTD - right now I would say my current sustained rants are vaccine eligible anti-vaxxers, the lets let everyone have a gun with no training crowd, Bill Cosby, voting rights and climate change. Just avoid those topics right now.

That meme is great - I am a food sharer. My niece is not; when we went to Alaska, I kept teasing her (she was 7), finally one night she turns to me and says "fine, aunt Jennie!, you can have a bit of my dinner"..and then I said "that's so nice, but I don't like squid"....she was so mad.

menu today is up in the air, I know there will be coffee; there will probably be bacon, after that all bets are off.

If you need me, I'll be under that umbrella on the left (hiding from the sun of course). Tonight we are hiking some lava tubes so hopefully I'll have pictures to post next week.

Have a great Thursday, Canada day for those of you way up north and wonderful long 4th weekend for those of you rebellious colonists.

Good morning. Yesterday was boring, boring, boring than BANG! and I was chasing my tail to get things done. Got home and got my clothes/food transferred to the RV and got dinner made. It was bedtime before I knew it. Today is looking like a busy day and I'm meeting my husband at the campground tonight to start the weekend. The kids arrive tomorrow. I'm doing great food wise, but I need to knock off the nightly glass of wine. Just empty calories I don't need. But man do I love cooking and sipping.

QoTD: All the things you all mentioned. ALL. THE. THINGS. Crosby on a technicality. Disgusting.

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

Today is my Friday and my Bestie is in town. I do not have to be back here till Tuesday. I am so excited and hope today is smooth sailing. I am running out at lunch for my Mani Pedi and tomorrow will be food prep for 3 days of parties. I am trying to have good choices for myself but for some reason I do not thing it is going to end well. I see it all going to hell in a handbasket easily especially because I plan on some ****tails.

QOTD: JB I hear ya sister this is very unfair and all women deserve to rant about this. My rant lately has been work related. I work for a hurry up and wait kinda company and it drives me crazy. They want to to get new business but our tools are so antiquated it is pretty much impossible. People love our concept but are technology lacks. Can we please catch you to 2021?

Accountability: Very good It took me a week to finish a Lilly cookie and cream bar and I am proud i didn't plow through the whole thing at once. I ended up eating RGF chicken cordon Bleu for dinner.

Here is my fig tree

This is the neigbors fig tree he grows outside. Not many figs though.

Bestie brought lemons from her tree. The Italian in me makes limoncello. I did squeeze the inners and made fresh lemonade.

Sorry one more Twinsies

I did some research on fig trees last night and see that there are now "hardy" fig trees that can grow around here. Something that just surprised me. Both trees look great and those twins are so beautiful and growing so quickly.
