What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Mine is in a pot and we take it in and out. However I have a neighbor who has one in the ground and doesn't seem to have any problems. I'll try to take pictures of his an ours when i get a chance.

Morning everyone! Yay Wednesday, also my Friday so double yay!
qotd - milk. White chocolate is meh but dark chocolate is lies and disappointment, like carob or "tastes just like a thin mint". RH keeps me from much in the chocolate realm though.

Mornin' All!
one of the cats goes in to the vet clinic this morning for his third stem cell treatment (it's been a couple years since his last one). His inflammatory bowel disease, which the first two treatments have kept in check, has gotten a little worse, and he has moderate kidney disease now as well (he's 16 - so not uncommon). The vet said they're having some luck with stem cell treatment for kidney disease, although she doesn't really understand why - yet, there's been some success with it. SO...we're doing it again. We gave him gabapentin this morning, as directed. I can't believe we were successful with giving him pills, but we did it! It's starting to take effect...I can tell by the way he's acting. He should be nice and calm by the time we get over there...
So I'm going to wrap my moon-faced head up in a scarf today to take the cat in and to go to Aldi's. Everything looks great - just swollen. I go back in tomorrow to get the sutures and staples removed. YAY!! I'm also down to two prednisone pills today, then one pill tomorrow - then I'm done! I'm glad because I think the pred is one of the reasons I've been eating more than usual (although I did great yesterday...). Fortunately, the post-surgery metabolic boost has offset that - as I mentioned yesterday, I've weighed less the last two or three days than I have in months. Hopefully I can keep this up - although I know the boost doesn't last too long - maybe two or three weeks.
QOTD: any and all. I don't know that I have a favorite. I guess of the three I'm less likely to go for white, although I love those Lindt white chocolate truffles (haven't had one in years, though - I'd eat the whole bag!
Have a great day, everyone!
