What's on your Tuesday Menu?

I'm the same way I start with 4 pair with a new prescription but end up with around 10 by the time I get a new script.

G'morning all!

My run yesterday was awful. Just awful. My legs felt like they were made of lead. I blame the burpees from last week. Infact I told my trainer never ever again. I even told her after all these years following all of her instructions without arguing, if she sends me another routine with burpees I'd lie through my teeth and just skip them.

We are having our carpets cleaned today so Luna and I will be out of the house most of the day. When I checked the calendar seems like it's almost two years we haven't cleaned them. We usually have them done twice a year but I guess after xmas 2019 and the onset of Covid at the beginning of 2020 we never scheduled them. These carpets are getting old anyway but it's a headache changing them.

QOTD: nope. Nothing like that where I grew up. But I had seen it in the movies and thought it was very cool and American.

My meals yesterday (ADF)

• L: premier protein + coffee
• S: Quest chocolate brownie bar
• D: 2 tuna pouches
• Total: 500
• E: 5.5 miles jog

Bad runs are hard but the good ones are the best feeling!! The next one will be better.

QOTD - Yes, it was really sweet too - When people would stop they always overpaid on purpose. I do that as well, I will go out of my way to stop at a kid run lemonade stand. Resident artist! That reminds me of going door to door with friends and our drawing and 'gifting' them to the neighbors, who would always invite us in for cookies or candy. What a different world we live in now.
