Well Hellooooo Tuesday, we meet again... Yesterday was as even busier than I thought and I never came up for a breath. Sorry I never even came to read if you are all hoarders or monsters like me, lol. I will have to save it to read over the weekend!

Anyway, yesterday after 13 hours with no break, Grim kidnapped me for a dinner (and a drink) out! I had a fish taco and a Cosmo. I should probably be annoyed with myself for not making a cleaner choice, but whatever... I am barely treading water over here, so I don't have any energy left to waste being mad at myself. At least I didn't eat any of the other crap that I bought at TJs yesterday!

QOTD: Did you have a lemonade stand when you were a kid? My neighbor and I had one together when I was about 5 or so, but I was completely uninterested in the lemonade aspect of the business... Instead, I made her do all the work and I used to give everyone a custom drawing with their order, lol. I was always interested in being a resident artist.

I am heading into the office today to escape the insane heat and humidity. Ugh, its been miserable... But since it's so awkward to snack at my desk with a mask on, I think it should be easy to stick to the plan.

Today's menu:

B: Protein Coffee & HB Egg

S: Yogurt & Melon

L: Salad with grilled chicken

D: Leftover fish tacos

Good morning JB, sorry you have so much on your plate!

So yesterday was really really hard. We had to take the kids to meet up with my SIL at a dentist office for them. We were about 5 minutes early so we waited in the parking lot. This office is on a very major and VERY busy road. There was a huge accident. A speeding driver clipped a car that ran out in front of it...it rolled 10 to 15 times and in the last few the driver was ejected. I saw everything and it's haunting me. I don't know how but the driver is still alive but in critical condition. I am so upset BUT at least the kids did not see the actual accident. My mom tried to get to him but there was a huge bar ditch full of water/muck and weeds with thorns and she had sandals on. There just happened to be a sheriff deputy not far behind the accident. The firemen and the ambulance was there in mere minutes. I didn't sleep much last night. When we got home last night I was in shock really...almost threw up then ate my feelings once they set in. It keeps playing in slow motion in my head...over and over.

Not sure what today will hold, I'm hoping not much.

QOTD: no stand here. I not so secretly hate lemonade, I don't do well with citric acid so...LOL I love the taste of citrus though.

Food is kind of up in the air.

B: JUST egg, Gorgonzola cheese, chicken sausage and coffee

L: ???

D: probably cauliflower fried "rice"

S: ???

What an awful thing to witness! I hope the ejected person will pull through. I hope too that your next several days will be very calm and gentle, I too would be very upset if I had witnessed such a thing. Hang in there!

Seeing something like that is traumatic and your mind will dwell. When that happens, focus on on how fortunate it was that a first responder was there, how quickly the individual was taking care of, how good it is that the kids were not there to see it, etc. maybe that will help mentally with the processing.

OMG - how awful! Yes - I'd be really haunted by that as well. I hope that poor person pulls through. I'm glad the first responder was nearby, too.

I'm sorry that you had to witness that Melody. Thankfully, the children did not see it.

Someone from above was looking over that fella. Hoping you can do some crafting/reading and keep your mind from looping.
