What's on your Monday Menu?
Good luck getting everything done this week! I bet it will go fast leading into the holiday weekend.
Mike and I had a good weekend alone while DS was away. Friday I spent time with my adorable 8 month old nephew who I was able to hold for the first time. Saturday we did some brush cleanup, walked with Justice around the harbor, went to the winery with Justice for a glass of wine and music, then went out to dinner at a place on the water. Just a great day with my guys! Yesterday we went to a BBQ at my friends and saw their children and grandchildren who I had not seen for 2 years. Really a fun day. And Mike even got in 3 rounds of golf between Friday and today. He won't be bac****il this afternoon so I think I will go to the beach.
QOTD: I tend to save way too much (like cards) thinking I will want them later. But when I get into purge mode, I can be relentless about getting rid of stuff. I usually put that stage off longer than I should though.
You May have guessed from my weekend description that there was too much eating and wine - True, so I need to check it today.

Good morning, everybody!
Thank you for your kind words and well wishes on Friday. Between me, her tennis teammates and the paramedics, we were able to convince her (barely) not to play on Friday night. And she had an off weekend anyways. So with the three day break, she is back on her feet and doesn't seem to be any worse for the wear. Her face is little swollen, but no bruising.
We had a nice weekend. My son didn't really like the Nissan Frontier that he drove on Saturday, so we are going to drive a Chevy Colorado on Tuesday. The actual car is up by Trish, so if he likes the one that he test drives Tuesday, then me and Marilyn will be headed up to Wisconsin on Wednesday.
Other than that, Friday happy hour, Crossfit, reading on the back porch, etc. We watched Bottle Shock last night. It's about the 1976 blind wine tasting called the Judgement of Paris. From what I have read, almost everything in the movie is invented except for the actual competition, but we still gave it two thumbs up.
I'm off next week, so the next few days may be a little busy.
QOTD: In general, Marilyn makes all of those decisions. But Have something like 250,000 saved emails on my computer because I don't know what to save vs. delete.
Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese
Lunch: chicken
Dinner: Cheeseburgers
Have a great day, all!
