I bought a pair of Kona's at Easter switching from my Brooks. They are like running on air. Worth every penny.

Grilled halloumi is YUM, you can cube it ans put it as your protein in a salad too. I'm a pinch I will throw some of it in a nonstick skillet just til it carmalizes and then do a squeeze of lemon of it. Kasseri and feta work too - basically any of the firm salty cheeses I think!

Halloumi is one of our faves. We call it squeaky cheese because it squeaks when you chew it! Try it with grilled pork, fresh red onion and avocado. Before surgery I would use Naan to pick up the pieces for little bites. Now I just use a fork and make perfect little mouthfuls. We cook it both on the bbq grill and in a cast iron skillet on the stove, depending on the outside weather. YUM!

I always put cheese curd in the microwave for 15-20 seconds and they get squeaky too. I love the squeak.

I've never tried Halloumi but always wanted to - maybe I'll pick some up next time I'm at Aldi's!

TGIF~ Awesome co-worker, I love his whiskers and that bow tie!! Dinner last night was fabulous - the chicken shawarma in the air fryer was heaven on earth! Rob said the crispy bits tasted like bacon - I mean come on, does it get any better? I love this kind of food - Rob not so much but he called dibs on the leftovers, so I guess it has moved up his list.

Fri-yay - we were planning to go visit Robs folks this weekend, but his dad cancelled. Looking forward to some golf and relaxation - maybe the beach.

ETA- QOTD - I love it cold with blankets, I have to be covered - year round. I have the fan on 365 days a year and I can't sleep with the heat on. I think my sleep temp would be 60ish

I heard it's illegal to exercise on Fridays, so I'm not gonna risk it.

OK Amy, Deadly Women isn't my favorite crime show, but this episode in bonkers. Season 14, Episode 2, just the story in the first 20 minutes.

OMG - I'm so on it, but it will have to be tomorrow!

We got our first Unsolved Case File yesterday - Banks. I surprised Rob - he was so excited and wanted to rip into it right away! Given how long they can take, we will wait until tomorrow. Can't wait!!

Quote from the newspaper coverage:

"Things began to fall apart in April 2017, when Rogers posted a photo of steak tartare with minced garlic on Facebook"

That was a good idea on the game. You really need to be fresh and ready to read every single word.
