I am obsessed. You havens idea how many people I have shown these pictures to over the last few months. Like I just whip out my phone and brag about you.
I vote for goats or kitties in the zoo next!

When I had my first meeting with the nutritionist pre-surgery, one of the first things she had me do was to add an easy, healthy afternoon snack like cheese sticks so that I wouldn't arrive home starved and eat everything in sight (as I often did if I skipped lunch or had a long time period between lunch and dinner). I still try to do that even now.
Mike and I are going to be alone over the weekend! An unusual situation with DS still living at home due to Covid. Yeah!
QOTD: 65 is a good temperature as long as the air is not humid. When it is hot/humid in the summer I have the AC set at 68 and have the ceiling fan on high. If the temperature outside is between 40-65 (and not humid), I like to have the windows open. I prefer to sleep under a sheet wwith at least one blanket.
TSS: 5 years, 3 months
B: Coffee!!! scrambled eggs and cottage cheese
L: out to lunch with childhood friends
D: leftover low-carb Mexican spaghetti squash casserole
S: string cheese, yogurt pie

Going to lunch with childhood friends will be fun. I have not done that since the pandemic. I have a group of grade school and high school friends and we get together several times a year. Could not do that last year and I missed it. Hope we can soon. One had her hip replaced yesterday, so we are waiting until she is well enough to come to lunch with us.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Yes, it is so nice to be able to do this again. I grew up with the women I am meeting - two are twins who lived in my neighborhood and I have known since I was about 9. I did also meet with some former high school friends a few weeks ago, but it was a very small group. Fun, nonetheless!

I am flummoxed as to how it is that I forget about food when I am in my work zone, but I really do! Yesterday I left for work at 5:30am and returned home at 5:30pm and I only ate a hard boiled egg the entire time I was out of the house. I had to throw everything else away when I got home. I also didn't drink anything all day and I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst leg cramps! I really need to get my act together!
Love that pup in the ocean!

Good morning. Yesterday was a brain killer and it's going to be so again today. I have a love/hate relationship with this. I love to be busy and I love to make money, but I hate the frantic feeling of juggling and prioritizing constantly to meet all my customers demands and needs. We did grill out on the deck last night, (picture below) and the weather was great and the food turned out drool worthy. Half of dinner will be done out there tonight too. On top of work I need to spend a bit getting lists done and organized for this weekend. We have so many things to manage for the family camping trip next Friday and that will be immediately followed by taking the grand girls to CT for a week. I must get at least new bathing suit bottoms. Having quite the issue with too much gap at the legs. Ain't nobody wants to see that. A friend suggested the juniors department as they are cut differently. Not sure how successful juniors and modest will be, but I am going to look tomorrow. The girls will be in the water on vacation and I have to be comfortable so I can be in there with them.
QoTD: I almost always need a window open a bit for "airy" air. And then in the summer sheet and coverlet, in the winter I like it cold with a sheet, heating blanket, heavy comforter and coverlet over that. I like the weight on me.
Menu:
B: 1/2 small chicken breast, 1/2 pc bacon, 1/4 cup cottage cheese
L: homemade chicken tenders, protein chips
D: maui ribs, cauliflower rice, bell pepper
S: jerky, parm Whisps
Pictures are dinner prep, massive progress on removal of back yard patio cover (after painting and stucco a retractable awning is going up) and shirts I made for myself, daughter and grand girls for 4th of July.
Peace everyone!

Love your outdoor kitchen.
The shirts are very cute.
Let me know about the retractable awning after you put it in. We are thinking about it too but undecided.
