What's on your Thursday Menu?

Wow, how is Thursday already?!? Sometimes 4 day weeks can be slow, but this week is flying! I am heading into the office today and hope it keeps up at this lightening pace (especially the commute!)

QOTD: Who has been your all time favorite coworker? I used to work with this wonderful man, Steven. He was an old-school hippie who dedicated his whole life to being a peacemaker and he really lived his mission. Anyway, amongst many other little kind gestures, he used to leave us meaningful and lovely poems on our desks all the time, and he hand drew little pictures on them. It was so sweet. Anyway, I have taken one poem he gave me and tacked it up in every cubicle I have ever worked in because I cheri**** so much! He passed away a few years ago but I think of him often. I was just realizing the other day that even though I don't miss going into the office, I do miss seeing my Steven-Poem every day!

Food was pretty good yesterday! I skipped a snack and switched out dinner for a steak but ended the day well under plan for calories and carbs. Yay! I needed that win! Today should be easier since I will be in the office, so no chance of random snacking!

Good morning everyone.

Today looks to be fairly easygoing. We do have to go to the grocery store.

It's come to my attention that low carb does not agree with my digestive tract. So I have a lot of thinking to do about my next steps. Honestly i'm suffering from food fatigue...like badly. I need to screw my head back on tighter and start caring more.

I'm so tired this morning but couldn't get back to sleep.

QOTD: I don't really have one. I guess the folks that have helped me proof read and helped work on my tutorials. Not really coworkers but they've always been so helpful.

Food is kind of up in the air for most of today.

B: JUST egg, chicken sausage, Gorgonzola cheese, coffee and yogurt a little later in the mornin

L: probably a fairlife caramel protein shake

D: NO CLUE

S: cheese stick, maybe a small amount of popcorn and freeze dried apples

Good morning, everybody!

Quick hitter for me today because I have to run to an appointment.

I was supposed to take steak out of the freezer yesterday, but took out lamb instead. I thought that it looked like steak. I guess small steaks. Anyways, the lamb was delicious. Hopefully will have some for lunch.

Don't know if anybody is into computers, but Marilyn and my youngest were able to find a 3080 graphics card yesterday. They had been waiting in lines at the store when the trucks came in and scored one yesterday. The deal was that before he bought the rest of his computer parts, he would get a job, so he has been continuing to fill out applications, etc.

I read an article that some used cars are selling former than they went for new. Of course the example, Toyota Tacoma is what we are trying to find for my older son.

QOTD: My three partners (two now retired) that we travel with. Quick Tuscany picture for memories:

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: lamb

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

I hear about inventory throughout the day. It's crazy right now!

Do you know if I can use my Amex to purchase so that I can get points? Or do the dealers surcharge?

I was told we don't do that as a standard in CA.

It looks like very few dealers will allow it. Colleges are the same way.

I think the liability is the issue.

I too have discovered that I like lamb A LOT after thinking I hated it for many years .

Either my tastes are changing or what I tried the first time wasn't properly prepared .

I think it a fairly lowfat and healthy meat , no?

I was supposed to swim today and got lazy . One can tuna fish two tbspoons light Mayo and a half an English muffin for B

Going out for Chinese buffet for lunch with the 'rents .... then shopping and packing so a pretty tiring day .

I just hope I can get some sleep at nite .... because I have gotten into a terrible habit of just sporadically sleeping in front of the TV .
