Just remember all the reasons you were looking for a new job in the first place and be sure they are not just using fog and mirrors to get you to stay. Will the new Job get you back to GA full time? It is a nice position to be in. Hope it all works out.

That's a really good question I think ..... but sometimes institutions are just SLOW.

Leaving all the years you invested into your retirement behind ... scary .

Last nite - no sleep ? or barely any sleep as usual . Trying to swim an hour with the ' rents at eight and probably relaxing the rest of the day .

Can't even imagine food right now but I have some super low fat chicken enchiladas in th fridge and also ff cottage cheese and toast able English muffins. And fruit... which I probably won't eat .

It's kind of scary that I eat SO much unhealthier than my parents.

Mornin' All!

Well I'm stressed out already - no half & half in the fridge, so I had to throw on some clothes over my pajamas and run to the store at 6:00 a.m., and since then I've been struggling with Paint - and PhotoFiltre - to format my damn menu for today, and they're just NOT cooperating, so I guess i'll be typing the menu out. Hmmpf.

I need to get some exercise this morning since I have to take a COVID test tomorrow (for my upcoming surgery) and then isolate at home until Friday (surgery day). It's too cold this morning to bike, so I'll either go to water aerobics or do some youtube video. I have a luncheon at 11:30, hair appt at 3:00 - and I have to review some stuff for our estate attorney (and update it if necessary) and drop it off at his office today. It's for our annual appt with him in July. Oh - and classes. I'm already behind since I took yesterday off. Cripes.

QOTD: my worst time is late afternoon when I start wanting to snack. I think it's usually because I don't have a planned snack, or I'm home. I do better when I'm away from the house during that time, obviously...

B: plain Greek yogurt with blueberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake (blended with cantaloupe and ice today)

L: supposedly it's taco tuesday at this restaurant we're going to today, so if that's the case, I'll get a taco. If not, I guess I'll do the soup & sandwich combo, and eat half the sandwich.

AS: probably nothing - I'll be at the hair place - plus I'll be having a bigger-than-usual lunch

D: Madras lentils and 1/2 pita

have a good day, everyone!

Does your computer allow you to take a screenshot that is just a portion? I can select the part of the screen I want to take a pic of so that I don't have to edit it later...

Windows has a feature called Snip & Sketch. Get familiar with that. It makes it so easy to just screenprint exactly what you need.

I imagine a lot of us who are out a ways are guilty of that! (adding to our menu). I plan out around 1400 kcal, but I usually end the day with around 1600 (sometimes more - but 1600 is OK as long as I get some good exercise in...)

Good morning, everybody!

I am intrigued by this Connecticut style lobster roll. I looked up places where we could get them the next time that we were in Boston, but then Marilyn reminded me that we could probably just make them at home. Given that it appears to only have three ingredients, that is a good point.

It sounds like we are just going to go ahead and get my son a truck. His grandfather initially offered to see him his, but I think is having second thoughts. There are a lot more Tacoma's available in Colorado, but I also wonder if they get harder miles out there going up and down mountains as opposed to the Chicagoland suburbs. In any case, I think that we are waiting until July (which is only two weeks).

Are the couple from The Ukraine that handcuffed themselves together for four months fake? You can't put on shirts if you are chained together and they seem to have new clothes on in each picture. And if you unchain to put on clothes, wouldn't you also unchain to go to the bathroom?

I did like when she said that he never tells her he misses her anymore.

QOTD: Afternoon grazing.

Breakfast: protein bar

Lunch: hot dog

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!
