What's on your Monday menu?
I think that we should have started earlier in the day, when we were less tired. Also, a certain wife did not read all of the documents and relied upon others to read them.

Mornin' All!
Madison is having one of those community "Make Music" thingies today, with musical groups at venues all over town (including some in people's backyards), so I'll have to go to a couple. I also need to bike - so I guess I'll bike to them. I have online Mah Jongg from 10:00-11:30, and then a Zoom meeting from 1:00-2:00, so it sort of cuts into my day, but I'll figure something out. It'll be gloriously cool today and no rain - thank God!
QOTD: I guess biking or doing some of the walking videos on youtube - I got hooked on the "Reps to the Rhythm" series (on youtube) a few months ago - he's a lot of fun and he has cats who can often be seen in the videos. And he plays great music. This is kinda food related, but I also like going to the grocery store. Probably because it was pretty much the only thing I could do to get out of the house during the lockdown. Never thought I'd like going to the grocery store, but now I do...it's fun to spend time in there and see what all they have. Ethnic grocery stores are especially interesting.
Mernin' errybody, Happy Monday!
Missed you guys! Been a weird week, weird headspace. Just a lot going on, but I'm still here.
QOTD - music, definitely music.
Breakfast - fasting, so hot black coffee and water
Lunch - vegan conchitas (shells, instant), sliced cukes, some nutty bread with vegan butter from farmers market
Snack - kale/blueberry smoothie with oatmilk and chia seeds
Snack - peanut butter/crackers and mandarin
Dinner - No idea, but its gotta be something fast and easy. It's too hot to cook so maybe some leftover pasta, and veggies.
I hope you all have a great day!
Christina
Let it begin with me.

Good Morning Mel and Menuers,
Hope JB is well and everything is good. It is just so nice to have her back she is so missed when she is away. I will say a prayer in case she needs it. God knows I need a prayer. As you saw on Friday I started my day with 2 different shoes and today Started with a Next Day Air package that did not make it to my customer. I need my days to start better to keep me focused and ready to do my job well.
I saw Alabama has had some pretty ruff weather do we have any posters from that Area? If so I hope all are safe.
So yesterday I decided to shove a few ravioli down my throat and it did not end well. Wouldn't come up, wouldn't go down. So basically I had the foamies from about 5:00pm till I went to bed. I hate when I make those kind of mistake but it definitely kept me from snacking.
QOTD: A good Pool day in the summer, and I always love a Mani Pedi.
Accountability: I am not gonna lie there were many cookies due to the Church bake sale but fortune they did not wreck havoc on the scale.

G'morning all!
We had a good Father's day. The kids called their dad in the morning so we were able to hit the water around 10:00 am. The ocean was calm and the water was relatively warm for our area. No sharks in sight which was a sigh of relief bcz they are back! But we met a new friend who swam with us for a while.
After that we went to this hole in the wall restaurant with Asian fusion cuisine. It's one of DH's favorite places. They have rice and noodle bowls and serve the food in an outdoor patio. I had curry chicken and spicy cauliflower. Didn't touch the rice because I knew a couple of bites in and I would be stuck. After that we stopped by a local bakery and got a fruit tart to bring home. That's when all my good intentions went out the window; I had a slice of the tart with a siding of vanilla icecream, and I suffered the consequences. Oh well, the sacrifices I gotta do for DH! ;)
QOTD: reading a good book, chatting/laughing with friends, a good sweaty run where all the mind cobwebs get cleaned out.

I'm back from Aruba and can finally post again. So weird! I could post on the VSG maintenance group but not on this thread. OH tech support had no clue what was wrong. Surprise, surprise...
Anyway, I am back on plan starting NOW! My annual checkup with my Bariatric surgeon is in a month and I am going to use that as incentive to get the newest regain off. Regain in 2019 due to sick DH and regain in 2021 due to being in love. Clearly an emotional eater! But thanks to my VSG my regain is so much slower than pre-surgery so I can catch it before it gets too much and know how to eat right to get back down (thanks to all of you sharing your recipes and trials).
