Good morning! Yay! JB, Just YAY! I got home from work last night just as the final parts of the outdoor patio cover were coming down. All in prep for painting and stucco. It was so nice out I got a glass of wine and sat on the patio while they finished up. We are replacing it with a retractable awning. Plans are finally coming together and even though I don't want to spend the money, I am excited for the finished project.
My mouth is still in bad shape. Getting better daily, but still very challenging. Second degree burns from my coffee. I've got a busy weekend ahead and am a bit bummed my mouth hurts so bad. Tonight is dinner with friends, tomorrow is vacation clothes shopping with our youngest grand girl and then taking our kids out for a fancy dinner to celebrate their 37th birthdays, as well as the 37th birthday (today!) of the company we all work for. I've been here since day about day one. I worked with the owner at another company, had my daughter on Wednesday, June 13, 1984, my boss closed the other company on that Friday and opened this one on the following Monday. I was in here with my daughter just a few days old setting up offices and answering phones. It's been a very challenging job through the years, but I have been richly rewarded in so many different ways.
Menu -- still soft foods. I'd kill for a cracker
B: hb egg, 1/4 c cottage cheese
L: left over edamame noodles, homemade meat sauce
D: tbd thinking caprese salad or minestrone soup
S: Yogurt if needed
Photos are of my husband and I at a party last weekend. They had a Polynesian dancer come give lessons. It was hysterical. My husband is in the light blue shirt, me in the red dress. And patio progress!
Peace everyone!

You go girl with that Polanyian dancing. Your husband looks as he may have had a ****tail or 2 he is really into it. Thanks for sharing. I hope you heal soon. You could rinse with liquid aloe but not swallow if your looking for a little relief. I am sure we have all done the same thing at some point in our lives so we can all sympathize with you.
