Good morning!
JB -- hugs to you and Mom. And you are so right, wait until they tell you there is something to worry about to really worry. Until then, breathe deep and just do what you need to do to help her.
I'm salivating over this craft room. In fact, I'm showing my husband the photos. I'm so envious!
I did poorly on food choices. My mouth is still so bad, I choose mashed potatoes for lunch, and had some soft bread and butter with my dinner. I rarely eat carbs like that, but my stomach just can't seem to get satisfied and my mouth can't handle the things that would help.
QoTD: This girl's glass is half full, at minimum, all the time. I am ridiculously optimistic and look for the good in everything. I annoy myself sometimes.
Menu today -- maybe.
B: egg whites, feta omelet
L: 3 oz gyros meat, a good glob of tzatziki sauce to help it go down, 1/2 c cole slaw if I can manage
D: chicken thigh baked with this new spice rub I got. Bourbon maple, but taste like amazing bbq potato chips ! 2 oz baby potatoes, 1/4 corn on the cob
Peace everyone!

Funny you say you annoy yourself sometimes, I read an article a few months ago about "toxic positivity" and then I annoyed my bestie and my sister trying to make sure I wasn't toxicly positive!

I figured out how to do it relatively inexpensively, so hit me up if you want the details for how I created the island!
Good Morning JB and Menuers,
So sorry to hear about your Mom. Thoughts and prayers are with you.
It is nice to be back. We had some major system problems here at work and I was playing catchup form my day off on Friday. Fortunately I am all caught up and I have some time to be here. I miss you guys when I am gone.
So I been thinking about changing up my workout routine. I love the run but I feel I need to get some strength in here so that it is a more well rounded workout. After I am done with my races I am going to run 4 days a week and then do 2 gym days one for arms and one for legs and do that Full body crazy 8 work out on Saturday's. It sounds like a good plan in my head but lets see how it plays out on the scale.
QOTD: So optimistic. I am always looking forward never back and I am a Plan prepare succeed kinda gal. Very little negativity. But I am cautious I hate when the plan goes wrong or someone takes advantage of me and I should have seen it coming.
Accountability: I been eating Aldi Keto buns and Costco Keto crackers with homemade red pepper roasted humus. I also had 2 Lilly's peanut butter cups. Why do they come in a pack of 2? Darn it.

G'morning all!
JB - I hope they can find a bed in a cardiac unit ASAP for your mom and that the surgery goes smooth. Sending tons of healthy vibes her way.
The craft room is a beauty. I wouldn't leave that room.
Not sure if anybody here is following the UEFA 2020 this summer. It's the European football (called soccer in US) championship that was supposed to take place last summer. I'm following Italy, obviously. Our first game against Turkey was a no brainer. But today at 12:00 noon PDT we are playing against Switzerland. Fingers crossed we do well and come out of the group A a winner.
QOTD: definitely positively an optimist.
My meals yesterday
- B: fast
- L: egg bites + 2 cauliflower thins
- S: ratio Greek yogurt (new find, it has 25 gr of protein)
- D: Thai chicken skewers + steamed veggies
- E: 30 minutes cardio + 60 minutes weight training
Happy hump day!

When I first moved to Boston I lived in an international women's boarding house and we had 43 women in their 20s from all over the world. I had never been exposed to the fandom of international football before living there, but it was sooooo fun to follow the games with that passionate crew! Go Italy! Have fun :)
That sounds like so much fun! I'm interested in football only during World Cup and European championships, I guess national pride.
I remember one of the years that Italy won the World Cup, we had an italian family as our guests (mom and three adult kids) for a whole month. We were at the semi finals against Germany (from which we were scared) and when Italy scored a goal the mom who was at the time around 65 jumped so high that she landed on her ankle and sprained it. Kean says during those games it was more fun watching us chattering and getting excited than watching the game.
