Your courses sound so interesting!
Did you ever catch the series called Big Ward on Netflix? It followed a bunch of weight loss surgery patients in NZ. It was a really good show. I had always secretly wanted to live there, but I was surprised and saddened to see what an unhealthy environment it is for the residents.

hi all,
good weekend very productive. finally got all my tire crap handled and bought some groceries at sam's. got to see my sister for about 1 hour while I was in town Saturday. Sunday I was exhausted due to not sleeping well last week so I worked in the house.
Then the electrical went wonky Saturday and kept pulsing and doing strange things. So the electrician came out and had to tighten a few things at the control panel and change a gfi upstairs. all is well but we need to pay $350 at a later time to upgrade the main box outside as its all corroded inside.
I have a doozie for you for photo Friday to keep you in suspense...
food over the weekend actually was good.
Exercise plans for week:
walk total of 4 miles, maybe more
lift weights at least 2 times, maybe 3.
Food:
b: coffee, coffee, water
Food some combo of eggs, shrimp, chicken, stir fry veggies.
Tibet - from the movie Shangri-La has always been my secret dream of a place where I want to go. At some point, I thought I wanted to renounce the world and live in a peaceful monastery high in the mountains. I may never actually go there, because now I realize it is such a cold place.

Yes! Tibet looks incredible-- I love the peaceful mountains and I love how colorful the architecture is. Such a cool place.

My dream is to ride the " red rooster " - it's a very old railway that takes you all around China .
Yesterday we had a few Asian people in the pool early morning which meant that they just flew in .
I was SO SCARED to even try a conversation with them ... I just overheard ...they were from Hong Kong .
why am I so shy ?

I dreamed over and over again about eating.... but I didn?t .

My body - finally- is starting to look good . I was really scared it wouldn?t respond .

Good morning everybody,
I am back to Chicago. I had a nice weekend in Boston. I got to see my Mom and both of my sisters for the first time in two years. Both sisters moved in the last couple of year's, so I got to see both of their houses. Also, I go to see my younger sister's new dog. She doesn't have children, so the dog is incredibly spoiled.
I also spent some time at Walden Pond, got lobster at Woodman's (supposedly they invented the fried clam), and saw the neighborhood that I grew up in.
For those that don't read on the weekend, it sounds like Mary and I could be distantly related. I have to do more follow up on that.
Around here today, the agenda items are starting to look at trucks for my older son and getting my younger son to apply for a job at the local deli.
QOTD: I fly a lot for work, so spent many hours looking at the maps in the back of of the airline magazines. That more than TV is how I put together a list of places. When we return from Munich/Vienna/Budapest this fall, I will have 6 trips left on my original list:
1) Peru
2) the Amazon
3) Safari (the camera kind)
4) The Bible lands
5) Southeast Asia
6) top of the world (Nepal, etc.)
No doubt that I will think of more to go to in retirement, but i am trying to do these while still working.
Menu is pretty up in the air as I just got home at about 1:00 last night.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: TBD
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!
